Admitting that the due process was not followed on camera is bold. That said, M-PESA is still one of the best innovations of the 21st century. The only glitch is that it’s too pricy with regard to the local economy.

Nobody ever talks about the brain behind MPESA…the guy or lady who didn’t ‘fully’ benefit from his/her genius. If this was the 1st world, he/she would have been such an inspiration to the world & by now would have been motivated enough to develop more.

I am glad Mpesa launched when it did. I don't think it would have seen the light of day in this or the previous administration.

Can we just admit we were so lucky that mpesa was launched during kibaki era? There's no other president, present or former could have handled this better than kibaki

Unless it's criminal, technology should be allowed to take its own course. It should not be subject to licensing. That's the whole meaning of this story.

Even in business we start first then regularize later. It's an informal formality
