The U.S. Navy understands it would be nearly IMPOSSIBLE TO FORCE OPEN the Strait of Hormuz. If U.S. or Western warships move close to the strait, they become SITTING DUCKS. Everyone in the region knows this. Iran holds all the cards in the Strait of Hormuz.

Trump: The Strait will open up automatically. We'll open the Strait anyway. We don't use the Strait. It won't be easy. We will have that open fairly soon. You don't need a back up plan

Iran said it is going to close the Strait of Hormuz again due to violations of the memorandum of understanding reached between the U.S. and Iran. In response, U.S. Central Command pushed back saying it is in control of the strait.

Iranian analyst Mohammad Marandi: If the U.S. escalates, "there won't be a Kuwait." Oman, he said, must accept Iran's terms over the Strait of Hormuz or let Iran control it alone.

It took 6 weeks, but Trump has come full circle on the Strait of Hormuz: - "Iran, open the Strait!" - "The US will escort ships through the Strait." - "The Strait isn't really closed." - "NATO, open the Strait yourselves!" - "The US will impose a naval blockade on the Strait."

Renewed tensions between the U.S. and Iran following the collapse of a ceasefire are creating uncertainty over the Strait of Hormuz, with Iran claiming the waterway is closed and the Trump administration maintaining it remains open. @MaryKBruce reports.

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 NOBODY KNOWS WHAT'S HAPPENING, THAT'S THE PROBLEM Former CIA analyst Larry Johnson watches the ceasefire story fall apart in real time. Iran releases a 10 point deal. The White House says it only applies if the Strait opens. Iran won't open the Strait. They were burned before on a nuclear deal with the U.S. They lifted restrictions, trusted the West, and say they got nothing in return. Mediators are hearing what they want to hear. Both sides are talking past each other. Is Iran mocking the U.S. right now? Nobody knows.

JUST IN 🇮🇷🇺🇸: U.S. and Iranian Negotiations hit a BIG WALL, The Strait of Hormuz Iran stressed the Strait of Hormuz, won't return to its pre-war status, and a new transit protocol must be established. The U.S. wants to return to what it was before the war. The 40-day War on Iran gave them a nuke, the Strait of Hormuz, and they will not give it up! This was a problem created by Netanyahu lying and starting this war on Iran and the world is paying the price. Thanks again Bibi...

The US is threatening to bomb Iran's civilian oil infrastructure because they are losing control of the Strait of Hormuz. Iran responds brilliantly: The strait is open to the world, it is only closed to the US and its enemies. Checkmate.

Scott Ritter just exposed the single most important fact about the Iran war: the US Navy cannot open the Strait of Hormuz. Not because of lack of will. Because Iran's missile systems have turned the Strait into a kill zone.
