During high inflation, who ever gets the hot money first does the best because they can invest/use the money before the inflating supply diminishes the purchasing power. There is a delay as the inflation works its way into the entire economy

That’s not reality. USD is backed by the full strength of our military. Any country in the world if free do use whatever currency they wish but if it’s not USD we’ll probably bomb you… America could literally be just a nuke team and keep USD the global currency.

If the US dollar is not a unit of measurement, then there's no such thing as inflation and deflation, and the mint printing more money would have no effect on anything so thus not a problem for anyone.
