Welcome to Federalism, Mr. Beat. It was only one of the foundations our country was built on. TX is different than CA, GA is different from AL, FL is different from HI, KS is different than OH, WI is different from IL. Showing ID is not voter suppression. 😅

A rundown of Donald Trump’s biggest campaign promises and whether he has or hasn’t delivered.

Sooooo making it a popular vote would also be uncon????

"I like how the US runs it's elections but also dang states that have laws I don't like"- mr beat awful takes

Sore loser laws are unconstitutional

Allowing someone to vote without an ID is absolutely ridiculous. The DNC required ID just to enter their own convention. Let's drop IDs for everything and see how it goes...

Mhmm, that’s right, Beat! It’s a reflection of America’s heritage of localism and individualism that dates back to the foundations of America. This is also one of the more difficult aspects of America to understand from outside America. Aloha 🇺🇸🤙🏼

You’ve been coping ever since you’re candidate were cooked by the American people🇺🇸

Oh no not voter IDs

Voter ID just seems like no harm no foul. People need to ID themselves almost every day whether they’re doing their taxes or buying alcohol.

The system we have here in Scotland is alright, you lot should try it. We have proportional representation, where the country is split in to regional and local constituencies. Most MSPs are elected to local positions (73), while the rest (56) are elected to regional positions. Regional MSPs are typically opposition MSPs that didn’t win in local constituencies, that still get to have a seat so that the will of the people who lost is still heard. Imagine an election is 50.1%-49.9%. Should the voice of the 49.9% not be heard? This is a simplification and I prolly got some stuff wrong (been a while since I’ve talked about Scottish elections) so feel free to correct and expand if you do so feel fit.
