🇺🇸🇻🇪 "THE U.S. HAS EXCELLENT COVERT INTEL CAPABILITIES… THE CIA WAS OPERATING IN VENEZUELA" The U.S. operation in Venezuela wasn’t just military, it was intelligence-driven, years in the making. According to Alex Christoforou, this wasn’t about firepower, but infiltration, bribes, and flipped military officials. He argues the CIA had...

🚨🇺🇸🇻🇪"THERE WAS NO WAY FOR VENEZUELA’S MILITARY TO PREVENT THE CAPTURE OF MADURO" The U.S. military just carried out what looks like a full-on regime change operation in Venezuela, and no one fired back. According to Alex Christoforou, U.S. forces flew into Caracas, avoided all air defenses, captured Maduro and his wife, and are preparing to install a new government: "There were no air defenses, so there was no way for Venezuela’s military to prevent the capture of Maduro. Bribes were given out, people were paid off, and the air defenses were not activated. The U.S. military struck Caracas, hit whatever military bases they needed to hit. This is very much like what happened in Syria, they’ve done the same thing in Venezuela. They captured Maduro and his wife. Trump says he’ll announce everything in a press conference." U.S. Southern Command said on Wednesday that the U.S. "apprehended a stateless, sanctioned dark fleet motor tanker" called the Sophia in a "pre-dawn action" in the Caribbean. The vessel, it said, was conducting illicit activities and operating in international waters. Two U.S. officials told CBS News the Sophia was flying a Cameroonian flag and left Venezuela with oil on board. The U.S. judged it to be in violation of its embargo on Venezuela. The U.S. has full control of the vessel and no U.S. personnel were injured in the operation, the officials said. The U.S. Coast Guard was escorting it to the U.S. "for final disposition," according to U.S. Southern Command. Earlier Wednesday, the U.S. military also intercepted a Russian-flagged tanker that had been evading American forces for weeks, escalating a confrontation with Moscow after the ouster of its ally, President Nicolás Maduro of Venezuela.

President Trump had given authority for the U.S. military to conduct strikes inside of Venezuela as early as Christmas Day, CBS News has learned, but there were U.S. military operations that day against ISIS targets in Nigeria, so the focus shifted away from an operation in the South American country. Ed O'Keefe reports the latest on the strikes inside Venezuela and some of the response from lawmakers.

🚨🇺🇸🇻🇪 "MADURO GONE, BUT NO ONE WANTS MACHADO OR GUAIDÓ" Trump just pulled off what looks like a perfect military op: Maduro was captured in hours, no U.S. troops were harmed, and Venezuela’s defenses didn’t even activate. But now comes the hard part: Will Venezuela spiral into chaos like Libya? Or will it bounce back? Alex Christoforou says Maduro wasn’t beloved, but his U.S.-backed replacements like Machado or Guaidó might be even worse. This might be a short-term win for Trump, but for Venezuela? That's still a massive question mark. "It is a win for Trump optically in the U.S., but what matters is what happens next. From a military perspective, a successful operation is when you have no troop casualties and Maduro is captured within hours. Machado is definitely not popular in Venezuela. Maduro isn’t universally unpopular, many still support the legacy of Chávez and the institutions he built. Bringing in a Guaidó-type figure is not the solution because these people are universally unpopular across Venezuela. What they’re going to do is sell Venezuela’s resources to the West, Machado has already said that." Alex Christoforou

🇺🇸🇻🇪 "MADURO'S CAPTURE WAS CAREFULLY PLANNED BY THE U.S." U.S. General Ben Hodges confirmed the operation to capture Maduro was as seamlessly successful as it was because the U.S. bypassed every defence the Venezuelan military had, something which required months of preparation. "We know that there were cyber operations that were initiated to turn off power, to do things like that. In all of these operations, you'd do everything you could to blind the enemy, so air defence couldn't shoot back, they couldn't track. It was a combination of cyber and traditional jamming; they had such good intelligence that had been built up over the past couple of months. Given the nature of Venezuela and this government, I would not be surprised to learn, on the inside, there was help." Ben Hodges

🚨🇺🇸🇻🇪"THEY GOT THEIR REGIME CHANGE - THIS IS A BIG WIN FOR TRUMP" Trump is already calling it a “brilliant operation”, a lightning-fast strike in Venezuela that captured Maduro in just 2 hours with 0 U.S. troop casualties. For Trump, it's a clean win. For Venezuela, it’s a giant question mark. Alex Christoforou says this is a textbook regime change, and most Americans won’t care what happens next unless the fallout shows up at the border. With Maduro gone, Trump gets the spotlight, and Venezuela gets whatever comes next. "Short-term, this is a big win for Trump. He's going to take advantage of this. He's going to take his victory lap. They got their regime change. Americans would care less about what happens to Venezuela next. They care more about whether U.S. troops are being targeted in Venezuela, and that is not the case." 🇺🇸🇻🇪 MADURO IS SWEATING: U.S. MILITARY VS VENEZUELA LOOKS LIKE A PRANK The U.S. shows up with 13,000 military drones, 70 submarines, over 13,000 manned aircraft, and an arsenal that looks like it was ordered straight out of a Marvel script. Venezuela rolls in with… 1 submarine, 2 fighter jets, and vibes. The gap isn’t just massive, it’s interdimensional. At this point, it’s less “military strength comparison” and more “how to get humbled in 4K.” If this were a fight, it would get flagged for bullying. Source: Open Source Intel

SNEAKO reacts to reports of Venezuela sending crude oil to Israel for the first time in years following the U.S. capture of Nicolás Maduro. 🇻🇪🇮🇱 “I’m vindicated. Venezuela sends oil to Israel for the first time in years following the capture of President Maduro. I told you this is what it was about. Everyone knew the justification for capturing him was bullshit, it was about oil. Everything Trump has done in the second term has been to benefit Israel, not America. I’ll gladly accept apologies from people who said I was wrong.”

⚡️🚨 United States: Press conference of President Donald Trump: What happened was a display of the power and influence of the strongest country in the world Following my directions, the armed forces carried out today an exceptional military operation in Venezuela The military operation targeted bringing Maduro and his wife to trial Air, land and naval forces participated in the Venezuela operation The attack on Venezuela has not been seen by the world since World War II Venezuela's military capabilities are useless and Maduro was arrested in the dead of night. We have crippled Venezuela's military capabilities. We will govern Venezuela and hold elections. We will manage Venezuela's affairs until power is transferred in an orderly manner. Major US oil companies will enter Venezuela We are ready to launch another and larger attack if necessary
