In almost every country of the world, the main duty of state forces is to protect the people, safeguard their lives and property, and stand with them in difficult times. But unfortunately, in Pakistan, many such incidents are seen that give the impression that the forces stand against the people instead of protecting them. This video is from Sindh. It clearly shows an ordinary citizen riding his motorcycle. During this time, a vehicle of the Pakistani forces hits his motorcycle from behind, causing the man to fall on the road. At that moment, it was the duty of the forces to check on his condition, apologize, and provide immediate help. But instead, the video clearly shows that rather than apologizing, the injured man is subjected to violence

All the dead bodies lying around the village had the choice to abandon their homes the very moment the demons broke in to slaughter them. Instead, they fought back with whatever weapons or tools they had, knowing full well that their death was almost certain. The fact that dying in their homeland meant more to them than fleeing for their lives says everything about what Frieren was trying to express in this arc. It’s plain and simple... Home is not a place you run away from, it’s a place you return to. It’s where you lay down your life beside the people you love, defending what matters most against those who have no right to be there. Those villagers chose to protect their homes, their memories, and their way of life rather than become refugees in a world that had already taken so much from them. This part of the story hit me so hard and made me cry for so many reasons. It carries an incredible weight, the quiet, stubborn humanity of people who would rather die free on their own soil than survive by abandoning everything that made their lives meaningful.

Did you know in some states when a neighbor cuts down a tree, if it falls into your yard and damages your property, it’s deemed an “act of god” and you are responsible for the damages to your property. For me this could be a huge headache for many people, it shows no accountability. If the neighbor’s tree damages someone else property, you would think that it’s their responsibility since it’s their tree and it’s their actions that caused the damage. Why on earth would any state have this law is beyond me, I wouldn’t want to live in an area like that, where one day you are on top and the next day you could be thousands in debt. What would you do if this was the case for you?

Yesterday, this man, a resident of the village of Khlivchany in Ukraine's Lviv region, was forcibly conscripted. As you can see in the video, he appears to have visible signs of physical abuse. The military medical commission, however, saw no such injuries and declared him fully fit for military service. The video was recorded and shared by his daughter. This is how Ukrainian men are being forced to fulfill their so-called "patriotic duty" in the country of the Four Freedoms.

Congratulations to Adm. Lisa Franchetti. She was just nominated by President Joe Biden to become the first woman ever to be the top officer of the U.S. Navy. Not only will Franchetti be the first woman to lead the Navy if approved by the Senate, but she will become the first woman to be a US military service chief. Quite the accomplishment!
