China has indeed been a success story. US is jealous, not just its government, but many ordinary Americans are jealous and can’t come up with any constructive responses to China’s rise. China isn’t perfect but atleast its not destructive to other countries. Carry on China!

Yeah.. those bridges are great.. but we here in the US.. we give the world the Kardashians and many other completely empty and vapid forms of entertainment.. that allow our citizens to live in complete and total stupidity from the moment they wake up to when they go do sleep.. can you compete with that?

My dad visited Vietnam in the late 90s and talked to many Vietnamese that still had resentments and issues with China because of the conflict in the 70s. Granted, he only talked to a few dozen people in Saigon, but how prevalent do you think this attitude is today?
