The US Special Envoy for Peace, Jared Kushner, says Israel’s failed attack on Hamas leadership in Doha was ‘terrible’ and left the country ‘globally isolated’. He added that this allowed US mediators to use international outrage to force Israel into a Gaza deal.

I can't wait until he goes to a country that arrests him and tries him for his crimes against humanity.

How on earth did they manage to walk away from so many crimes—atrocities only Nazis could rival—for decades?! And did the US happen to play a role in that impunity???!!!

Why does US need international outrage? The US controls the purse strings does it not? What exactly is the issue here?

Kushner framing international outrage as leverage is quite the political pivot. Using global pressure to force a deal sounds like a calculated move.

Kushner says: We used Israel's weakness to force a deal. Netanyahu says: Qatar is an enemy state, the attack was justified. Israeli officials say: The attack made the deal possible. Everyone tells a different story – and no one asks what happened to the dead.
