The ME ‘s office has revised Sandra Birchmore’s cause of death from “asphyxia by hanging” to just “asphyxia" with the manner of death "undetermined" rather than homicide, further victimizing Sandra. What changed other than the optics for his assistant DA now running for the DA’s job? This is further victimization of Sandra by the DA’s office. It has to stop. This is how I explained Sandra’s victimization by Farwell on Court TV even as she became an adult.

Steven Heinrich, 28, stabbed and killed 23-year-old Stasy Charles in Baton Rouge this week. This young woman deserved better. The news report by @besswbrz leaves out critical context. It doesn’t name District Attorney Hillar Moore, the East Baton Rouge DA’s Office, or the Assistant District Attorney on the case, Steve Danielson. Yet again, our DA drops the ball and the public is kept in the dark. They never name his office, never ask real questions, and consistently frame these stories in a way that lets Hillar Moore skate. His office should have placed a hold. They should have pulled Heinrich’s full record before court. They should have requested a higher bond. They could have requested an ankle monitor. The judge granted the restraining order the DA’s office asked for — but they didn’t take the other steps they easily could have. If we’re going to connect the dots, then let’s connect them. Baton Rouge deserves to know the real reasons crime continues the way it does — and part of that is the DA’s repeated failure to act. District Attorney Moore, why didn’t you do more?

In most states, agencies like the State Police remain fully independent from the District Attorney’s Office and only collaborate with prosecutors on a case-by-case basis. By contrast, in Norfolk County, State Police detectives are formally embedded within the DA’s office and work under the DA’s direction on a daily basis. Michael Proctor is not only a complete and utter failure as a moral and ethical human being. He is an indictment of the Massachusetts State Police. AND he is a reflection of the Norfolk County District Attorney’s Office, one that can only be corrected with a complete overhaul in leadership. ADAM DEITCH FOR DA 🇺🇸

Might this be a reason why the Commonwealth doesn’t want to return Karen Read’s cellphone? Because its GPS location data were deleted in April 2022, while in State Police custody? Prosecutors, including the Norfolk County DA’s Office, do not need the physical cellphone once they have an extraction, or forensic image, of said phone, with the exception being cases in which a cellphone was physically used in the commission of said crime (not applicable here). In fact, the Norfolk County DA’s Office extracted and returned accused murderer Brian Walshe’s cellphone + devices within less than 24 hours. They didn’t hold them hostage for years. Nonetheless, as Karen Read and her team are inevitably building up her Section 1983 case against the Norfolk County DA’s Office, State Police and others—something which the Norfolk County DA’s Office is surely anticipatory of—evidence of investigators deleting or destroying Brady evidence, like Karen’s cellphone GPS data, of course would be paramount. Given that this same DA’s Office does not hold cellphones hostage from defendants in its other cases, their refusal to turn over Karen Read’s property back to her, especially after she’s been acquitted, certainly raises suspicion. #KarenRead

REASONABLE DOUBT REASON # 1: #KarenReadTrial If a medical examiner couldn’t even determine #JohnOKeefe’s death was a homicide, how can anyone on the jury? Fun Fact: Over 4 months after Karen Read was first arrested, on June 10, 2022, DA Michael Morrissey’s Office upgraded her charges from manslaughter to second degree murder despite the fact that their medical examiner couldn’t even determine if it was a homicide. At that time in June 2022, the DA’s Office said that while some of Officer O’Keefe’s injuries were apparently known, the full autopsy findings were purportedly “not complete”. Hmm… 🤔 Was it that they were “not complete”? Or was it that they were complete but didn’t fit your narrative? The DA’s Office further went on to state: "While the evidence available at this time is not inconsistent with an accidental fall, the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has accepted the case and will determine the cause and manner of death.” Despite apparently having neither a cause nor manner of death determination, apparently someone thought it was a good idea to charge Karen Read with not only manslaughter, but also second degree murder. Antithetical to the entire purpose of an investigation, DA Michael Morrissey’s Office and its Massachusetts State Police investigators don’t follow the evidence. Instead, they desperately twist and contort to try to make the evidence fit their narrative. Is this how we get to the truth? Is this why Michael Proctor was texting Trooper David DiCicco on April 28, 2022—in the lead up to the state grand jury to try to secure an indictment on upgraded charges—about how he wasn’t following the evidence in this case, but instead was trying to pressure the medical examiner to give him the determinations he wanted? The DA’s Office itself subsequently said “the evidence available at this time is not inconsistent with an accidental fall” and didn’t have a cause or manner of death determination! 🤯 THAT’S REASONABLE DOUBT. Prosecutors have a duty to pursue justice. They have ethical obligations. Per ABA’s Standards for the Prosecution Function, Standard 3-4.6 says that: “A prosecutor should not seek an indictment unless the prosecutor reasonably believes the charges are supported by probable cause and that there will be admissible evidence sufficient to support the charges beyond reasonable doubt at trial.” This particularly applies to the Quality and Scope of Evidence Before a Grand Jury. Yet, despite having the definition of reasonable doubt, DA Michael Morrissey’s Office moved ahead with charges and upgraded charges against Karen anyway… …because, hey, according to them it could’ve been an “accidental fall”… …which would mean that Karen Read did not kill John O’Keefe, and she’s entirely innocent… …but who cares about the truth anyways? Apparently not this DA’s Office. It’s not like someone’s life isn’t hanging in the balance or anything. I guess this all explains why the Commonwealth wanted to conceal these inconvenient truths—that John’s manner of death could not be determined—evidence exculpatory to Karen Read. They sought to preclude this from the jury at trial (per their Motion In Limine to keep out John’s manner of death evidence)—because, forget about trying to get at the truth of the matter!
