The diesel ban is a bad idea. There are ways to lower gas prices right now. Get rid of renewable and ethanol requirements, reduce regulations, and lower state gas taxes. That could bring gas prices down by 30-35 cents a gallon.

Labour has no moral authority to raise taxes on family homes. The Conservatives are the only party committed to living within our means so we can lower taxes.

Gov Abbott says he wants to lower property taxes and Democrats want to raise them in a recent ad. 1. Abbott says this is a problem 43 days before the election when he has been Governor for the last 12 years. 2. Local governments have dozens of unfunded mandates from the State which if funded could reduce property taxes. 3. The State could make a larger contribution to funding public schools this would significantly lower property taxes. 4. Reducing local property taxes affects police and fire and other essential services.

Prices are up and families are getting squeezed. That’s why I’m working with both parties to put the squeeze on Big Pharma and Big Health Insurance companies to bring down premiums and drug prices. We eliminated taxes on tips and overtime, and we cut taxes on Social Security. But there is more work to do. In the Senate, I’ll continue to work every day to deliver bipartisan solutions that lower costs and make life more affordable for Iowans.

Some experts say gas prices could go to $7 per gallon. That’s why we need a temporary suspension of our state’s gas taxes, which are the highest in the nation. California leaders say they care about working families. Let’s make them prove it with a temporary suspension of our gas taxes while gas prices remain so high.

Why are gas prices higher in Canada than in the U.S.? Liberal taxes. Take all taxes off gas now to save families $1,200 at the pump and fuel our economy:

President Trump received a mandate from the American people to lower energy prices. He will do so by unleashing Texas oil and natural gas. Lower energy prices will drive down inflation and reduce costs for Americans.

Labour have taxed your job, farmers and even schools. Now they are taxing holidays… They’ll always raise your taxes to pay for more benefits. The Conservatives are the only party with a plan to cut taxes, cut welfare and reduce the cost of living for families.

Our campaign is centered on an economic agenda to lower costs and make life easier for the working people of our city. And we can fund our entire agenda by asking the wealthiest New Yorkers and most profitable corporations to pay just a little bit more in taxes.

After taxing the hell out of us (Commuter Taxes, Utility Bills & More) and even telling us to leave, Kathy Hochul is now begging people to return. Here’s a better idea, Kathy: cut taxes, lower costs, and make New York affordable again. As Governor, I’ll deliver the largest middle-class tax cut in state history, reduce property taxes, and cut utility bills — so families stay, businesses grow, and New York wins again.

If Alberta were independent we would have $50B more every year to build our own future. More Schools and hospitals. And significantly lower taxes. It's time to stop subsidizing a country that holds us back. Independence is common sense. #AlbertaIndependence

Republicans wrote the Working Families Tax Cut to bring down the cost and price for goods in America to help working families after four years of failed Bidenomics. IT’S WORKING. Today, gas is lower than $3 in 43 states, with a $2.79 national average — and below $2 in 19 states. Under Biden and Democrat rule, gas topped $5 a gallon. The lower cost and prices prove policy matters — and working families are feeling the difference.

DeSantis with a #GOPDebate lie "Finally, we need to lower gas prices. We need to open up all energy production." Fact Check: Gas prices are high because the oil is owned by the oil companies. Drilling more doesn't lower gas prices. It increases Big Oil profits.
