@prageru My family immigrated from USSR to the US in 1975. I was a teenager. Everything Konstantin says is 100% correct. The feelings he describes are shared by everyone who ever lived in a socialist/communist country

@prageru Take a country, divided in 2, one capitalist one socialist, put a wall between and see who is fleeing where! Already done! See Germany! The eastern part, the socialist one, had it so good, that they built a wall to keep people from fleeing to the west!

@prageru Should be mandatory reading. The level of cruelty there (and China today) was/is almost inconceivable..

@prageru I visited a friend in Hamburg around 2010. We traveled to East Germany and the even then the difference was immediately clear. Nearly every building was a drab gray. It seemed drained of life and joy.

@prageru Thanks Konstantin. I grew up in Hong Kong. The big bad wolf lived next door. Still does. It's a complicated story because some say the big bad wolf is now fat and happy. Fat beats starving under Mao, sure. But Uyghurs? Organ harvesting? You don't want to live with a wolf.

Life is hard. Wanting to make it better for you and your family is aspiration. Wanting someone else to make it better for you and your family is socialism. Promising you can make it better for people and their families is populism. Listen to governments who will open doors for you to make a difference to your own life. Take responsibility for yourself, you’re the only person who cares. I promise.

People aren't listening, they have blinders on, they have no conception of what's to come. They can't see, for some reason, the truth of what will be, if they allow these people in office. We have to stop this immediately. I can see what will be, for now we have to stop this, so then they can see, we are protecting them, because they can't protect themselves

@prageru This is what the democratic socialist party wants for us. The very ones who opened our borders, the legislative branch of our government who can’t and won’t explain how they all became millionaires.

@prageru Thank you Konstantin. And thank you Elon. It is men and women like you who made this Constitutional Republic the envy of the World. As Franklin quipped; "If we can keep it."...... Well, we're fixing to find out.

I know this is true. I visited the USSR in February 1991 with my school and we received a curated and guided historical tour of sites selected for their ideological significance. If you don't believe me I can show you the clock in the Winter Palace which stopped at the exact moment the Bolsheviks stormed the building.

I travelled around the USSR before the fall of the Berlin wall, and it was enough to smash any sympathy I may have had with Marx after reading the Manifesto. The stark greyness of *everything* - only broken by murals in red and gold. Huge queues for a handful of sawdust sausages, while the beriozka shops we could go to with foreign currency had Communist Party members able to buy things that we just tooks for granted in the west. It was grim, and anyone who claims that the Russians just didn’t do Marxism properly are idiots. This is just how the system works, because Marx didn’t understand humans.

@prageru Speaking of useful idiots, here’s a hot take from @TheLancet “It is a moment to reappraise Marx's contribution to medicine and to discover if his influence is quite as harmful as contemporary wisdom would suggest.”👇🏽

@prageru Academia and elitists live intellectually, outside of reality, while the rest of us have understand what really works and why. Many many millions die because of their commitments to the vision.

@prageru I love the way you present the unvarnished truth, a truth derived from personal experience. Problem is the masses are stupid defined as willful ignorance. In a majority-rule political democracy that is fatal. They believe they can get something for nothing, which is impossible.

@prageru For all of the Democrats, leftists,far-left, socialists, wannabe communists, DSA, Islamic Muslims (whom are the only ones out of the bunch who actually know what they’re doing as they trick all the rest) Here’s your UTOPIA you useful idiots! Choose Communism or Sharia Law??

@prageru Stop mentioning Norway, Sweden, and Finland. We are NOT countries with this leftist, bat-shit-crazy ideology. Start including Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini when speaking of leftist, bat-shit-crazy ideology. They also promised a 'better tomorrow' based on the same premise."

the question is why we are so vulnerable to this lies? my answer would be we all grow up in a family, and the structure of a family is a social system, so some of us take the “provider” granted for the rest of our life, which is not true! there’s no guarantee for providers out of family. governments are not providers! they are as dependent as the rest of the society to people who create value in the economy. the value generators of the economy are not interested to be everyone’s provider like they provide for their kids, and nobody can force them to be, based on history!

@prageru what's the argument here? if the us gets universal healthcare and adopts measures to address wealth inequality all of a sudden food, appliances, and cars will be scarce? we'll be forced to abandon our capitalist system for an authoritarian command economy? i don't think so

@prageru But, surely the left will eventually get it to work and we should be grateful to be collateral damage in their achievement of this glorious nirvana? “You will have nothing and you will be happy” is a command and not a prediction of how we will feel about being destroyed.
