Rahul Gandhi can be seen stating that they are not singing the Vande Mataram[meaning the full original version]. The Congress party has harboured a historical hate and contempt for Vande Mataram. The Nehru Congress in 1937 truncated the Vande Mataram on religious grounds and now in 2026 Rahul Gandhi’s Congress dictated by its vicious communal agenda is objecting to the rendition of the full original version. Smt. Sonia Gandhi and the Congress need to tender an immediate apology for hurting the sentiments of our nation and insulting the selfless sacrifices of our freedom fighters, who gave up their lives for our nation’s independence, chanting Vande Mataram.
