The operation was conducted under heavy police deployment and drone surveillance to maintain law and order. The District Magistrate (DM) was present at the site during the drive and later allotted land to 20 selected beneficiaries. According to the DM, a total fine of ₹58 lakh was imposed in connection with the illegal encroachments, out of which ₹8.78 lakh was levied on the mosque’s cleric (mutawalli).
