I think it is important to listen to this debate/interview, and listen to how Action SA’s Beesley comes to a slow and painful realisation that they have made a huge mistake - although he does not admit it. A recommendation in a Committee report cannot legally amend VAT Hikes contained in an adopted fiscal framework and revenue proposals 30-days later. As things stand, Action SA supports the VAT Hikes.
