Radio control of a UGV (Unmanned Ground Vehicle) is literally its weak link because line of sight is difficult to maintain. Fiber optic cable on a spool now being used to control some FPV drones could solve this problem. It would also make the vehicle immune to jamming.

Russian UGV "Courier" was just hit with Ukrainian FPV drone. But that's a special UGV - it carries Electronic Warfare System on it, basically made to jam the drones in the air. Ironically to be taken out by a drone :) Yeah the warfare has changed tremendously!
