The very people who once institutionalized corruption are today raising allegations against others, which is precisely why such accusations carry little credibility. This appears to be nothing more than an attempt to project themselves as the “good Trinamool.” The party has always allowed space for internal discussions and dissent,... but those who chose silence when it truly mattered are now conveniently trying to distance themselves from their own responsibilities. Ironically, many of the leaders who were nurtured, empowered, and given recognition by Abhishek Banerjee are today speaking against him. What is even more unfortunate is that Abhishek is now being forced to shoulder the burden of the incompetence and opportunism of those very leaders. During difficult times for the party, many of them were nowhere to be seen, yet today they are quick to point fingers at him. Despite everything, All India Trinamool Congress has repeatedly shown that it knows how to fight back and rise again. The party will recover and emerge stronger. One of the most frustrating things throughout my 8 years in Congress was how blatantly our leaders put party before the people. Whatever one party is for, the other is against—and vice versa. Criticising a political party is not wrong, but defaming it using FAKE screenshots and fabricated stories is where they have crossed the line. In my opinion, they should not be given time. They are not braindead, they know exactly what they were doing.

True terror will arrive at these people's door and they will cry, scream, and beg for mercy, but it will fall upon the deaf ears of the men who just wanted to be left alone.

CPIM leader Shatarup Ghosh about Mamata Banerjee I always respect Mamata Banerjee. From a lower middle class background without any political backup, what Mamata Banerjee had done to form her own party and fight against the ruling Government of Bengal at that time , CPIM on her own, that is truly remarkable. Other female leaders who are successful, had their own backup and already had existing party . No one can do it in the coming 200 years what Mamata Banerjee had done alone from the formation of her own party to ruling Bengal as Chief Minister for 15 long years .

Some in the mainstream media argue that their publications are objective because they sometimes criticise the ANC and the President, as if the ANC and the President don't also criticise their own party. The issue here is that they criticise because they are rooting for it to win, and so they would like us to believe their criticism makes them neutral. While they criticise the party for not succeeding, they have shown themselves to have zero critical thinking when it comes to the assumptions on which the party is built.

If anything, it confirms what many already suspect — Congress is heading in the right direction… straight to political oblivion. And it doesn’t end there. Jairam Ramesh has now joined the illustrious league of Nehru — who once apologised to the British to be released from Nabha Jail. Unable to handle the heat of truth, Jairam has chosen the same path of retreat — quick, desperate, and predictable. The Congress has truly become a party of apologies — first to the British, now to facts.
