Well if he had to defend me and didn’t do his job, I would be peeved!!

I once saw a person losing a case and was sentenced to 15 years in prison but he would have won the case only if his legal aid lawyer went to the crime scene. If he went there he would have realised that it was impossible for the key witness to identify his client.

A new section of my brain just opened up. A gaping hole that I now must fill with research. Starting with this entire interview.

I’ve seen so many cases like this. People lose cases because of this… The lawyer must have dialogue..

He has to object even if he didn’t want to, because in not doing so it could be considered a dereliction of duty and he could be sued and maybe have his license suspended 🙆‍♂️Tough.

What I have seen so far, when attending SA courts,my brothers and sisters don't properly prepare 😒 and the biggest weakness is PRESENTATION, they are very bad at it. What I mean is, even an ordinary person from the courts floor gets lost when they start talking.
