Good day. I was involved in an incident in Bulawayo on Plumtree Road, in front of Tiger Wheel & Tyre. A kombi driver stopped in the middle of the road, causing an obstruction. When I confronted him about it, he threatened me with an axe and told me that I was a "useless white person" whom he could easily kiII. I would like to make the public aware of this behaviour. I have a short video of the incident. Unfortunately, I was unable to capture the vehicle's registration number clearly, but the driver's face is visible and can be seen clearly in the footage. Any assistance in identifying the driver would be appreciated. Zimbabwe Republic Police

This happened on 20th April around 12:10 pm on Turuvekere Road. The KSRTC driver tried to overtake a car nearing a curve. This is really a huge concern for safety of passengers and others on the road. This could have ended really worse if the car didn't hit the brakes at the right time. And thankfully there were no other vehicles behind car as well otherwise that could have ended horribly too. Bus number is : KA11F0520 Number plate image in the below post 👇🏼KSRTC

One thing the Indian govt seriously needs to make compulsory is dashcams in every car. Our roads are filled with people who have absolutely no concern for safety, not even their own. The scary part is they can destroy someone else’s life in a second and simply walk away.

Regarding the Lamborghini crash on Coastal Road yesterday at 9:15 AM let’s get one thing clear, it’s not always about the roads. As I’ve always said, driving a supercar is entirely about skill. Even with 10+ years in this profession, handling these machines isn’t easy. Rear-wheel drives, in particular, can snap out with just a little extra acceleration, and controlling that takes real expertise. The harsh truth is, most people who buy supercars do it only because they can afford them not because they understand them. Zero knowledge, zero skill, but full of overconfidence. That’s how lives are lost theirs and sometimes innocent others on the road. This time, thankfully no one was injured, but not everyone gets that lucky. Supercars aren’t toys; they demand respect and training before you even think of pushing them! ☺️🙏🏻

This video was sent to me by a viewer whose husband was evacuating their cabin near Eureka as the Cherry Fire exploded Friday afternoon. The flames can be seen burning on both sides of the road as he drove to safety. It’s a sobering look at just how fast this fire spread during the extreme winds and dangerous fire weather. The Cherry Fire is one of several large wildfires that rapidly grew across central Utah today, forcing evacuations, closing roads, and sending thick smoke across much of the state. If you’re in or near an evacuation area, don’t wait. Leave when you’re told. Conditions can change in minutes. Thank you to the family for allowing me to share this incredible video. May this young man's Soul Rest in Peace. The carnage continues due to unprecedented levels of greed, dereliction of duty, and lack of accountability. The funds are actually there and have been provided over the past decade. The Ministry of Finance Ministry of Finance has released about UGX 100 Billion since 2019 for a Department of Government whose main responsibility and objective should be prevention of road crashes. These funds have been spent on activities with very minimal impact on road safety. This information has been shared with IGG, Office of the Auditor General Uganda, Criminal Investigations Directorate-UPF. How do you explained the death of a young man in a fatal road crash that caused the incineration of the vehicle which he was driving? He must have been driving in one of the best motor vehicles in this country given the wealth of his family. He was driving a motor vehicle which probably had good safety features on a smooth road without pot holes. It is easy to draw conclusions like he was speeding, he was fatigued, he lost control of his motor vehicle, he made errors, e.t.c. Whereas all that may be true, did he deserve to die in such a gruesome way for those errors in judgement? The answer is a BIG NO. The truth is government failed him in so many ways. At the center of modern day road safety management is recognition that errors made by road users (drivers, motorcyclists, cyclist and pedestrians) MUST NOT lead to their demise. Here is a situation he found himself in: Concrete Barriers on a road that encourages high speed. Who has the onus to remove this hazard? Government. I could have perished in the same circumstances a few years back before the completion of the KEE on the way to the Airport. It was a rainy early morning at about 5:00am and I drove through barriers which were made of plastic. So why were these not made of plastic? Was there a provision for lighting on that section? If not, it should have been there. This is what we mean when we say roads should be forgiving. Apart from their design, road sides are the major reference here. The road should have forgiven him for this error if it had plastic reflective barriers. These kind of barriers would have caught his attention and he would have stopped his car instead of killing him. Were the traffic lights functional? Why was there no hazard signage or warning of any sort since there were barriers in middle of the road? This section of the road is built as an expressway and as such encourages speeding especially at any time beyond midnight. There are no traffic calming measures in place yet it is freely used by pedestrians and Boda-Bodaz like any other city road. Roads are supposed to be designed and constructed bearing in mind the activities that take place around them (Land Use). Interventions to control speed must be implemented if there is a high volume of different road users. They would have got his attention and he would not have died. A glaring example of contractors that do not care about road safety is on the section of Kampala-Masaka in the swampy section of Lwera. The Concrete Barriers are there and in places where they are not, there is nothing preventing a motor vehicle falling off into the swamp. Not even a rope. UNTIL THE DAY WHEN THE LEADERSHIP OF THIS COUNTRY ACCEPTS THAT ROAD CRASHES ARE PREVENTABLE AND PARLIAMENT STARTS DEMANDING ACCOUNTABILTY ON ROAD SAFETY, THIS CARNAGE WILL CONTINUE. ACCEPTING THERE IS A PROBLEM IS THE FIRST STEP TO SOLVING IT OR MANAGING IT. TOMORROW IT MIGHT BE ME OR YOU. LETS STOP PAYING LIP SERVICE TO UGANDANS ESPECIALLY ALL THOSE FAMILIES THAT LOSE LOVED ONES IN THIS MESS OF GREED AND LACK OF ACCOUNTABILITY. They have this guy who sprints uphill on skis and already won 11 Olympic gold medals. What do they know that we don’t? Is it just that they know that talent is not a threat to equality? A nation of five million cannot afford to punish its best for being best. It can only afford to demand more from them, and get out of the way. They are simply the ones who never built a system whose purpose was to make sure no one stood out.

VIDEO: Truck, Commercial Bus Collide In Lagos A 40feet container-laden truck reportedly collided with a commercial bus at Oko-Filling in the Igando area of Lagos State on Monday morning. This is according to a post on X by the Lagos State Traffic Management Authority. The post read, "There is a 40 feet Container Laden truck at Lanre inward Oko filling driving against the flow of traffic. "The said truck was alleged to have hit an oncoming commercial bus. This has caused traffic. Police officers are on ground together with LASTMA officers." There's been an unfortunate incident in LA with a Uhaul plowing into a crowd of anti-Khameini protestors This man should never have been able to get near the crowd with a uhaul but some info about the situation seem to be - signage on the truck is anti both the shah and the current ayatollah. is this his actual position or is this camouflage to have gotten into the protest to perpetrate an attack? "no Shah, No regime, No Mullah" Mullah is a religious leader so possibly referring to the current leader and not a king like Pahlavi Timeline appears to be - anti-Khameini protestors try to rip signs off his vehicle and are bashing on the windows and eventually his passenger side window is broken - guy in uhaul then stutterstops forward into the crowd, eventually accelerating further, then stuttering again, then full stopping down the road - there is a man surfing on top of the uhaul in the 3rd video, below I have posted another video showing the man on top of the uhaul trying to take the posters off the side, so he is likely part of the anti-Khameini protestors - uhaul driver is taken into custody by police is this a case of police not having the street sufficiently blocked off and so a guy was able to get a uhaul in here? He should not have been able to drive a uhaul this close to a massive protest crowd There are a lot of people saying this is a terrorist attack, it is possible it could be one but I don't think there's enough information to accurately assert that at this time The chronology of events also shows it is possible that the driver was in fear of his life since protestors were banging on the uhaul, windows, and removing signs+ eventually breaking his window Whatever turns out to be the actual case, it is an unfortunate event and as of right now a seeming silver lining is that no deaths have been reported
