The video is proof that Indian drivers have : ☠️ No Hazard Perception ☠️ No Driver Education ☠️ No Safety Knowledge No amount of training can fix this as they're ready to face ☠️ with a smiling face. 🔥The bus can rear end them. 🔥The container truck can brake...

They say “The character of a nation can be judged by the way its citizens drive on the roads”. This is the approach road to Hyderabad Intl Airport, no pedestrians, no autos, no two wheelers here. Even on this exclusive road cars are driving on the shoulder! Do we have any hope of improving our drivers? #roadsafety

This man, a resident of Ward 41 in Seraleng, Rustenburg, fully dressed in ANC regalia, openly says they have no roads and no water, and then asks the ANC to fix the roads. 😂💔 No one can convince me that everything is right with ANC members.

Of the approximately 2 lakh road deaths a year in 🇮🇳 , 44% are bikers. Here are a few eager candidates waiting to contribute themselves to the statistics. Seriously, something is very wrong with such bikers who have no hazard perception. Can driver education showing accident videos help? #RoadSafety

Beaches in Sochi and Sirius have been closed following a fire on an oil tanker attacked by drones The vessel was carrying up to 100,000 tonnes of oil. A strong smell of burning can be felt in the air, while thick black smoke has risen over the sea. There were 23 Indian nationals on board. The crew was rescued. The fire has yet to be extinguished due to the intense burning of the oil.

Good day. I was involved in an incident in Bulawayo on Plumtree Road, in front of Tiger Wheel & Tyre. A kombi driver stopped in the middle of the road, causing an obstruction. When I confronted him about it, he threatened me with an axe and told me that I was a "useless white person" whom he could easily kiII. I would like to make the public aware of this behaviour. I have a short video of the incident. Unfortunately, I was unable to capture the vehicle's registration number clearly, but the driver's face is visible and can be seen clearly in the footage. Any assistance in identifying the driver would be appreciated. Zimbabwe Republic Police

This happened on 20th April around 12:10 pm on Turuvekere Road. The KSRTC driver tried to overtake a car nearing a curve. This is really a huge concern for safety of passengers and others on the road. This could have ended really worse if the car didn't hit the brakes at the right time. And thankfully there were no other vehicles behind car as well otherwise that could have ended horribly too. Bus number is : KA11F0520 Number plate image in the below post 👇🏼KSRTC

One thing the Indian govt seriously needs to make compulsory is dashcams in every car. Our roads are filled with people who have absolutely no concern for safety, not even their own. The scary part is they can destroy someone else’s life in a second and simply walk away.

What happens when a child learns that bad behavior rarely has any real consequences? 👀👀👀 All parents want well behaved children, but how many actually want to be strict and discipline them when they start crossing the lines? It can be easier to give in, ignore the behavior, or hope the child eventually grows out of it. The problem is that children are constantly learning where the boundaries are. If they discover that screaming, throwing a fit, talking back, refusing to listen, or deliberately breaking rules gets them what they want, there is very little reason for them to stop. Young children need boundaries because they are still learning self control. They need to know that when a parent says no, it actually means no. They need consistent consequences when they knowingly cross a line. That does not mean being harsh or losing your temper. Good discipline can be calm, reasonable, and firm. The goal is not to make a child afraid of their parents. It is to teach them that their choices have consequences and that other people deserve respect. There is also a difference between discipline and simply punishing a child. Discipline is about teaching. Sometimes that means taking away a privilege. Sometimes it means making a child correct what they did. Sometimes it means simply refusing to reward bad behavior with attention or a change of rules. Children who grow up with clear expectations often have a better understanding of how to behave when their parents are not around. Children who learn that every boundary can be negotiated may keep pushing until they find the limit. Parents don't have to be perfect, but they have to be willing to lead. If children are never taught where the boundaries are, how can we expect them to know when they've crossed them?

May this young man's Soul Rest in Peace. The carnage continues due to unprecedented levels of greed, dereliction of duty, and lack of accountability. The funds are actually there and have been provided over the past decade. The Ministry of Finance Ministry of Finance has released about UGX 100 Billion since 2019 for a Department of Government whose main responsibility and objective should be prevention of road crashes. These funds have been spent on activities with very minimal impact on road safety. This information has been shared with IGG, Office of the Auditor General Uganda, Criminal Investigations Directorate-UPF. How do you explained the death of a young man in a fatal road crash that caused the incineration of the vehicle which he was driving? He must have been driving in one of the best motor vehicles in this country given the wealth of his family. He was driving a motor vehicle which probably had good safety features on a smooth road without pot holes. It is easy to draw conclusions like he was speeding, he was fatigued, he lost control of his motor vehicle, he made errors, e.t.c. Whereas all that may be true, did he deserve to die in such a gruesome way for those errors in judgement? The answer is a BIG NO. The truth is government failed him in so many ways. At the center of modern day road safety management is recognition that errors made by road users (drivers, motorcyclists, cyclist and pedestrians) MUST NOT lead to their demise. Here is a situation he found himself in: Concrete Barriers on a road that encourages high speed. Who has the onus to remove this hazard? Government. I could have perished in the same circumstances a few years back before the completion of the KEE on the way to the Airport. It was a rainy early morning at about 5:00am and I drove through barriers which were made of plastic. So why were these not made of plastic? Was there a provision for lighting on that section? If not, it should have been there. This is what we mean when we say roads should be forgiving. Apart from their design, road sides are the major reference here. The road should have forgiven him for this error if it had plastic reflective barriers. These kind of barriers would have caught his attention and he would have stopped his car instead of killing him. Were the traffic lights functional? Why was there no hazard signage or warning of any sort since there were barriers in middle of the road? This section of the road is built as an expressway and as such encourages speeding especially at any time beyond midnight. There are no traffic calming measures in place yet it is freely used by pedestrians and Boda-Bodaz like any other city road. Roads are supposed to be designed and constructed bearing in mind the activities that take place around them (Land Use). Interventions to control speed must be implemented if there is a high volume of different road users. They would have got his attention and he would not have died. A glaring example of contractors that do not care about road safety is on the section of Kampala-Masaka in the swampy section of Lwera. The Concrete Barriers are there and in places where they are not, there is nothing preventing a motor vehicle falling off into the swamp. Not even a rope. UNTIL THE DAY WHEN THE LEADERSHIP OF THIS COUNTRY ACCEPTS THAT ROAD CRASHES ARE PREVENTABLE AND PARLIAMENT STARTS DEMANDING ACCOUNTABILTY ON ROAD SAFETY, THIS CARNAGE WILL CONTINUE. ACCEPTING THERE IS A PROBLEM IS THE FIRST STEP TO SOLVING IT OR MANAGING IT. TOMORROW IT MIGHT BE ME OR YOU. Seems like the pit bull theme is trending on X today. Or the algo is sending more of these my way. THey're super-hard to find, but you can always buy a borzoi. They sleep most of the day. They run at 35 mph, and if they decide to take off, you have to chase them with a car. They are very noble but super-low on the trainability scale. They love little kids, but do whatever the hell they want. Just get that 6' privacy fence, because they'll leap over anything they can see through that's lower. Oh yeah -- no dramatic dog fights. They're a wolfhound, and they'll just have that pit bull gurgling in about 3 seconds. And they'll teach your border collie how to kill sheep. Don't ask me how I know.

This video was sent to me by a viewer whose husband was evacuating their cabin near Eureka as the Cherry Fire exploded Friday afternoon. The flames can be seen burning on both sides of the road as he drove to safety. It’s a sobering look at just how fast this fire spread during the extreme winds and dangerous fire weather. The Cherry Fire is one of several large wildfires that rapidly grew across central Utah today, forcing evacuations, closing roads, and sending thick smoke across much of the state. If you’re in or near an evacuation area, don’t wait. Leave when you’re told. Conditions can change in minutes. Thank you to the family for allowing me to share this incredible video. Stay safe, Utah. 🔥

The Norwegians are about 5 million. They just won against Brazil in the football World Cup. They have Erling Haaland – the football prodigy. They have Magnus Carlsen – the chess prodigy. They have this guy who sprints uphill on skis and already won 11 Olympic gold medals. What do they know that we don’t? Is it just that they know that talent is not a threat to equality? A nation of five million cannot afford to punish its best for being best. It can only afford to demand more from them, and get out of the way. They are simply the ones who never built a system whose purpose was to make sure no one stood out.

Regarding the Lamborghini crash on Coastal Road yesterday at 9:15 AM let’s get one thing clear, it’s not always about the roads. As I’ve always said, driving a supercar is entirely about skill. Even with 10+ years in this profession, handling these machines isn’t easy. Rear-wheel drives, in particular, can snap out with just a little extra acceleration, and controlling that takes real expertise. The harsh truth is, most people who buy supercars do it only because they can afford them not because they understand them. Zero knowledge, zero skill, but full of overconfidence. That’s how lives are lost theirs and sometimes innocent others on the road. This time, thankfully no one was injured, but not everyone gets that lucky. Supercars aren’t toys; they demand respect and training before you even think of pushing them! ☺️🙏🏻

Great shot of a resident male cougar (likely the father of the kittens) at the end of July! We set this camera on a small wildlife trail along a beaver pond this spring, hoping to capture observations of cougars. And seems we picked the perfect spot. The male gives himself a quick scratch and then scent marks at the end of the video, a way to mark his territory. You can tell it is a male because it has a black spot of fur on its rear end (females don’t have that).
