[ Confirmed Information ] Last year, the developers confirmed in the "Hullabaloo" Conceptual Ideas Interview Video that the next storyline update will be a continuation of the main storyline, and it'll be released this year. That's probably when the Entomologist's hunter switch will finally be released, since it was confirmed in one of the previous Q&A sessions held by the developers that she and the Prospector would have their own hunter forms, and it's been two years now since that confirmation, and the Prospector's hunter form has already been released. The developers also confirmed in the video that after the continuation of the next main storyline update, the next storyline update will be Group 0, the first group in the manor experiment where "Psychologist," Patient, Sculptor, and the Mind's Eye come from, but they didn't specify when it'll be released. However, before the release of it, there will be two currently unknown final characters from the group released, and they are a survivor and an identity switch character.

This has to be my favorite interview video because it shows their upcoming future content and Mike Morton's Hunter Form!~ 🤹‍♂️🎪🌟

That being said, it really is a bit disappointing that he didn't appear in the side story aside from a small cameo during the fire of Closing Night. Although I really don't think the devs stated they were done with the lore during the Design Concept video of Hullabaloo and I do have a theory. That theory being if there is a slight chance Mike may have survived thus why his Hunter Form is registered in the Identity V system? As that doesn't make sense of why his Hunter Form came so later and Margie never even imagined Mike as such anyway. It leaves you wondering if this won't be the last we will see of him and why his Hunter Form is registered in the Identity V game system? 🤔 I hope that we will get to see his Hunter Form in other stories soon in the future!~
