The visual effects in ALL QUIET ON THE WESTERN FRONT reflect a "stunning technical achievement." Based on the literary masterpiece by Erich Maria Remarque. For your consideration in all categories including Best Picture.

Useless as I can’t see the bottom video on iPhone. The play display won’t disappear.

Such a hard watch, and shows that there is no victors in war, except for the elites who start it

Im sure it’s great but the text on screen covers half of the video. Twitter sucks for media sharing 😂

Fabulous film but a hard watch . There are no real victors in war.

This is one of the best movies I've seen in a while. I have to say I was traumatised & devastated at the end. I thoroughly recommend this to anyone. Absolutely brilliant movie 🎬

Diverges so far from the original story that I can’t see how it can be described as an adaptation. Spectacle takes centre stage at the expense of storytelling and characterisation. It was like watching a video game. Historically the denouement is risible.

That was an awesome movie . One of the best war movies I have seen. The innocent naivety of youth juxtaposed against the nationalist upper class narcissist war mongers who caused the war. Alas repeated all to oft - we don’t learn . Look at Russia

It’s a good film but shouldn’t have used Remarque’s book as a basis; it will lead to inevitable (and inevitably unfavourable) comparisons with the 1930 original, which remains the greatest war film of all. (See only the Library of Congress restored version of the 1930 film btw.)

Absolute rubbish, totally boring. Gets a lot of nominations when really great films are overlooked, terrible industry.
