The Washington Post committed massive election interference on behalf of Joe Biden to help him win in 2020. WP produced a fake story through its "fact checking" department that became nationally accepted and served as the basis for exonerating Biden of corruption in Ukraine. From CNN to Senate Democrats,... show more

These reminders are needed right now. Some people think they are doing a good thing with recent behaviors.

They want to be lied to.

Good work once again Maze. You’re great at showing all the puzzle pieces and the showing how it fits together. Thanks for what you do.

Thanks!

It’s really stunning to see how deep the legacy media’s election interference went in 2020, with The Washington Post leading the charge to protect Joe Biden and bury the truth about his dealings in Ukraine. Their so-called “fact-checking” department became an arm of Biden’s campaign, producing stories that turned a clear-cut case of influence-peddling into a tale of Biden as an anti-corruption crusader. It wasn’t just misleading—it was deliberate interference that shaped public opinion at a critical time. The reality is clear: Hunter Biden was receiving millions from a corrupt oligarch, Mykola Zlochevsky, owner of Burisma, while Joe Biden used U.S. foreign aid as leverage to get Ukraine’s Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin fired. Shokin’s office was actively investigating Burisma, with Ukrainian courts seizing Zlochevsky’s assets just days before Biden’s ultimatum. This wasn’t about fighting corruption in Ukraine; it was about protecting the Biden family’s interests. Yet The Washington Post crafted a narrative that buried these facts, relying on a single, vague quote from an unreliable source to claim, “The investigation into Burisma was dormant.” This became the media’s mantra, repeated so often that it silenced real scrutiny. Even Dan Goldman and Senate Democrats used it as a shield to defend Biden, turning lies into talking points for public consumption. That story did as much damage as the “Russian disinformation” spin on Hunter’s laptop. French journalist Olivier Berruyer’s work showed how easily The Washington Post’s narrative unraveled when someone actually double-checked the facts. Berruyer exposed how Shokin’s investigation was never “dormant” but was escalating right before Biden’s demand. The WP didn’t bother to interview Shokin, despite his willingness, nor did they verify dates and statements crucial to the story. It was sloppy journalism at best, outright election interference at worst. The Post’s agenda was clear: protect Biden, discredit Shokin, and deceive the public about what happened in Ukraine. Their twisted narrative shaped public perception, helping Biden dodge accountability at a time when transparency was most critical. The same Democrats who cheered the Post then are now outraged at the mere hint of even-handedness. This manipulation of information isn’t journalism—it’s propaganda, and the American public deserves better. The Washington Post’s refusal to tell the truth then was an insult to democracy, and it’s no wonder their credibility is in tatters today.

There were other damning issues. Perhaps the worst was that the media claimed Shokin was persona non grata with the EU and the US. BUT Shokin had been given a letter from the EU a month before saying they were very happy with his performance and doing a stellar job. Further, the US policy right up to the conversation Biden had with Ukraine to fire Shokin had the same view as the EU. To the point that the US team working with Ukraine said they were "completely blindsided by Biden" The media lied. I know, you're Shokined.

Shokin a few years after claimed that the US government poisoned him after he tried to travel here. Almost died.

Excellent post as always, MAZE. 👊 thx

👊👊

Ukraine has been working with the Democrats against Republicans in elections since 2016!
