Don’t think it should/will. They probably knew this would be possible. If you do the mechanic intended it’s no damage. Wouldn’t say this is really easier either partner is doing intended method. Clear example of emergent gameplay

hope they dont patch it, its quite fun and has a good amount of risk to it. if you mess up the timing you can get stacked for 80+

We call this “emergent gameplay” and now that someone discovered it, it becomes an intended mechanic.

wdym, synq i think this is just your 20k hours of raiding experience at play here, this is NOT easy for ur average joe, there are already similar mechanics in raids like wave skipping at toa for example

Probably never, considering they never patched skull skip for Wardens in ToA. This is a fairly small gain of uptime overall, and probably just amounts to an optimization tactic. This phase is a pretty small and relatively easy part of the fight regardless.
