HE DIDN’T EVEN HAVE TO SAY MUCH… THE LOOK SAID EVERYTHING. What makes this scene so interesting is how quickly attraction becomes the entire conversation. One character openly acknowledges what he’s feeling, while the other has to sit there and process just how direct that attention is. And that’s where the scene becomes more than just a romantic moment. There’s something almost uncomfortable about watching someone realize they’re being looked at in a completely different way. The line “Because I like it” is so simple, but it changes the energy of the entire exchange. That’s the kind of confidence that either makes a moment incredibly attractive… or incredibly awkward. The interesting question is: when does attraction stop feeling flattering and start feeling like pressure? Because this scene sits right on that line.

This is actually what I wanted to share: I lived in this pit for years, YEARS I tried to clean/keep up with what I could, but anybody who's in a similar situation will understand how impossible it is to clean/counter roommates who actively work against you. If they want to be dirty... it's near impossible to counter it. Living in this environment, especially so long, was incredibly embarrassing and horrific for my mental health. The minute I moved to my new home and finally had a clean place to live in, I instantly felt my self esteem rise inherently. I never even realized how much living in shit made me feel like *I* was shit. I wanted to show and share this experience for those who are in a similar situation. This was a horrible, long term torturous experience for me. Yall have no idea the things I've seen and went through just being in this house. I feel so angry for the years that I had to go through this (because I have nowhere else to go) and how sad it makes me that my own family is living in this way and doesn't want to get better about it. I really tried to help them get better about it but it was clear there was no interest. I will still get sad and depressed about myself... in fact I already have been even in my new beautiful home. A shiny room can't make my internal depression magically go away but... NOT living THERE sure helps. If you have and especially are going through something similar, just know you are not alone in that experience. :(

Being clear is kind. I was in the operating room the other day, during a stressful part of a case I needed a moment of complete focus, so I asked everyone in the room to be quiet. A few minutes later, after we had moved through that part of the operation, I apologized to the anesthesiologist. He looked at me and said, "Being unclear is unkind. Being clear is kind." No one has ever said that to me before. I've always believed that honesty and direct communication are acts of respect, especially at work and in healthcare. Patients deserve clarity. Teams deserve clarity. In the operating room, where every decision matters, clarity creates trust and keeps patients safe. I know I can be intense. My intensity has always been about caring deeply. It's about protecting my patients. It's about making sure everyone in the room knows exactly what I need so we can do our best work together. What meant so much to me about his comment wasn't just the words themselves. It was that he understood what was behind them. He didn't see intensity. He saw kindness. I couldn't ask for more than to work with people who understand that, and to be that kind of surgeon for my patients.

Oh my god, I just tested this out myself and its actually insane how Crimson Desert makes you wait a whole transportation sequence to go to another location. If you stand on top of a teleporter and fast travel to another teleporter it gets you there almost instantly. However, moving just a few steps away and traveling back to that same teleporter, the game makes you sit through a whole cutscene which takes approximately 15 seconds to finish. The developers should get rid of this ASAP, it looks cool for the first time you do it, but I would much rather take a quicker load screen than watching a cutscene every time I fast travel...
