The lady was so right because you said you have faith in boys when it was another girl. Why don’t you have the same faith when it’s your daughter?

Promising Young Woman (2020) is such an amazing film. There are two articles I would encourage people to read AFTER seeing the movie (they both contain major spoilers so don't read them before seeing it). This one changed my perspective on the movie:

It’s my understanding that the word “rape” is intentionally never uttered once throughout the entire film. If so, that’s brilliant.

She said we get 1-2 of these accusations a week. It never occurred to her that she is fostering a culture of rape at her school. The boys know the dean doesn’t not take the accusations seriously.

This movie is one of the best movies I've seen in a while. And I mean, I saw it when it came out and I still think about some of the things that were SAID in that movie 4 years later.

Wow! Where I used to work a woman reported a rape to HR - they blew her off - she was a housekeeper and an immigrant. He was the GM. She quit. Word spread, within a week 32 women filed charges. The GM? He was quietly transferred out of the country.

Imagine saying this thinking it helps your case

Great movie. Watched it twice in one weekend.
