it went from 4:3 to 16:9 then the forceful glitching from 16:9 to 4:3 then back to 16:9 and then it stayed in 4:3 as the episode closed . Ahhh this shit is genius direction man ...I'm tearing up also don't even get me started on the colour pallet parallels throughout the ep 😭😭

Very profound and aesthetically gorgeous episode. The fight was a delight with great martial artistry references as well as a flawless 3D animation. This ending scene is just beautifully directed, the 90’s anime style and ethereal almost Evangelion vibe is just marvelous. Big W

My reaction on Bloomberg TV is below. Two takeaways. 9 - 3 vote. Dissents are the new forward guidance. I think when we get to the end of the Warsh term as Fed Chairman, we're going to see a vast majority of the meetings were 11-1 or 12-0 votes. But when they are moving to change policy, dissents are the forward guidance that tells you the Fed is about to go a different direction. What Changed? Bob Michael of JP Morgan asked what changed. He asked why the Fed would hike rates because the data didn't really move that much from June, when we had a 12-0 vote. Correct. I would argue what changed is the way that the Fed now operates. It's no longer the chairman dictating and everybody doing what he tells them. They are now independent, and this hawkishness was always there; this desire to raise rates was always there. It was just not allowed to be expressed or acted on. Now it is. That's what's changed.

Y’all need to understand that the topic of “Mixtape Mount Rushmore” literally wouldn’t even exist if it wasn’t for 50 Cent, he created the blueprint. Before 50, what we know as a “mixtape” didn’t exist. Artists would just send some bars over someone else’s beat to DJs for their tapes. 50 turned them into his own records, he started to re-do people’s hooks and make it an entire song of his own, put on his own self titled tape. He was touring internationally off mixtapes that had no money or promo behind them, which led to a million dollar deal. He changed the way the entire industry operated. 50’s mixtape run is unmatched, the impact itself along with the quantity he put out is ridiculous. The quality was there too, majority of his best work came from mixtapes. So while you debate who deserves a spot, remember that there would be no mixtapes to debate if it wasn’t for him. And yes I know everyone has their own opinion and that’s great, I just wanted to bring this to attention.

I was 10 when I first saw and played Karateka. "Little me" thought it was awesome. Did I mind the 4-color CGA graphics? Nope. And neither was I bothered by the rather dreadful PC speaker sound. What hooked me instantly was how fluid the animations looked, how the game was paced, and the story told. You truly felt being the hero. You also truly felt the kick in the nuts the very first time when running towards the princess. What's maybe difficult to see from today's perspective is how Karateka (1984 by Jordan Mechner) moved the goalposts so far that it’s difficult to put into words. Genre-defining would be the most fitting attribute. Up until that point a game of this caliber simply didn't exist. And if that wasn't enough to make it legendary, then consider that it was Mechner's first game. He was 20 when it was released, meaning he started working on it and programming it solo as a teenager. What a way to say "hello world!"

Building nuclear reactors that are easy to replicate is a SpaceX style problem: "What we're trying to do here is build a reactor which is easy to replicate. It's a little different from mass manufacturing. Different from a Tesla style problem, more like a SpaceX style problem. You have a complicated vehicle that you need to get really good at building and deploying in a repeatable fashion. When I first started the company, we didn't have a size in mind for the first reactor. It was very explicit. We told the team we don't know how big the reactor is going to be. We don't know how powerful it's going to be. We didn't know those numbers until a year to 18 months into the company. We told ourselves we are going to discover the power level through the manufacturing process. Our instinct was as long as that number turns out to be somewhere above 15 megawatts, we should be pretty good for mass production. If you're under 15 megawatts, it's pretty hard to scale the right way. You just end up doing so many different pieces of operations that it becomes more complicated. But our feeling is above the 15 megawatt break point, you have something that can really scale. And we think this reactor ends up somewhere around 25 megawatts. 25 megawatts being the sort of scale factor where if you want a gigawatt, you just build 40 of them. The next challenge for us as we turn this on and turn the next one on is how do we get to the place where we're turning on one reactor every day and then multiple reactors every day. That's how we're going to climb into the gigawatts."

It seems that Republicans are trying to gaslight everyone into believing that Dayanne Figueroa rammed into an ICE agent’s car… So let’s break down the video, frame by frame. 1. This is Chicago… a dense, urban area with traffic in every direction. 2. The street is two-way… you can clearly see another car driving toward the camera. 3. The ICE agent, in an unmarked vehicle, is sitting in the road. 4. They then make a very wide turn… onto the left side of the road. 5. At this point, the agent is driving on the wrong side of the road. 6. The ICE agent, seemingly unaware of their surroundings (never ideal while driving in a major city), tries to enter the correct lane… without signaling, and without checking to see if someone’s already in that lane. 7. And it turns out, someone was already in that lane… Note: A federal agent, in an unmarked vehicle, does not have the right of way unless they have their 🚨 on. The ICE agent did NOT have their 🚨 on. 8. So, the ICE agent made an improper and unsafe lane change and hit Dayanne Figueroa’s car. 9.
