Cats only use the high pitched voice with humans. Their normal voice is lower for all non-human interactions

did you know cats don't normally meow and only do it for our sake because they learned that we actually pay attention to them so it passed onto their generation of kittens that would only meow out to their mother and then learn to meow to us for attention. it's pretty cute
