The way this entire scene was shot is SO GOOD

Halloween 5 is so underrated

When people are discussing scream queens, I’m gone need for everyone to start including her, she was eating the entire movie, her screams felt genuine, the way she was able to generate real fear in her breathing and screams, let’s give her her 10s

Halloween 5 has a lot of great scenes that I love! This scene, the opening credits, some of the kills, the car chase, the laundry chute, and even the last shot when Jamie says "No" right before the credits role. There are things to enjoy here in my opinion.

I mean, yeah, it's great, but it doesn't make up for how bad and boring the rest of it is

I agree it's shot well, but it's literally my least favorite part of the movie because no one thought that was Myers. And the music is lacking here.

Halloween 5 is seriously underrated - amazing Halloween aesthetic - barn scene and woods scene and house chase are genuinely terrifying - Jamie is one of the best child characters in any movie I can recall - Loomis finally whoops Michael’s ass

Othenin-Girard did direct some good sequences. This one, the car chase, laundry chute He did not know how to stitch them together though, the whole movie is basically a bunch of nothing will little to no consequence. Howarth’s music also really sucks IMO

I have long felt like a few strategic edits could save this thing from a lot of the criticisms that get leveled against it. The story is real messy but there are real moments of fear and atmosphere, like this one. Harris is incredible in it.

Imo this movie is underrated the scene with Michael and Tina in the car is great too

It was only a janitor coming, she thought it was Michael 🤣🤣

Dominque had some good moments. I like Michael stalking behind the tree when Tina and Samantha are talking in the park. Michael driving Tina around was intense.

I felt so cheated however when it turned out that the "pursuer" was never actually Michael. I hate scenes like that. Makes you feel like the entire chase sequence you watched was basically for nothing and a fake out.

This movie is so underrated

Justice for Danielle Harris @halloweengal , she ate those roles in Halloween 4/5 and should have been brought back. My all time favorites of the franchise.

A held shot down a hallway beats any jump cut. It makes you check the edges of the frame yourself. That is the entire job on nights. Camera two here looks down a corridor until 6 AM, and about once a month the far end is darker than the lights say it should be.
