CVS wanted to charge me $206 after insurance (pre-deductible meeting) for a new medication. Got it on @costplusdrugs for $27.

I had a Walgreens pharmacist call me a "fu(king junkie" over a prescription for pain medication that she refused to fill because she didn't personally know the provider. Complained. Walgreens stood behind her refusal. They really do employ awful & judgmental pharmDs.

If anyone want me to price your drug (without using National insurance) in France, just DM me the info. Keep in mind that a Dr. visit without insurance in France is capped at $27 (25 euros) & Drs. are permitted to give you 1 year rx (6 months for narcotics like Xanax)
Too true. I handle prescriptions for myself and my mother. Her pharmacy is mostly lovely. I'm stuck at a CVS that refused to run a pill through my insurance bc the pharmacist felt it wasn't expensive enough to be worth his time. It was expensive enough for me, though.

Rx is a tough job & staff is stuck in a broken system they hate too. Rx is put in this box where even tho it’s a business in a capitalist economy (not a secret, I don’t like it either) it is expected to be “cheap”/free. It doesn’t exist in the US & is frustrating for rx staff too

@rphteach 😬right?! and….happy birthday!🥳

I am so lucky my pharmacists and techs are amazing. They remember me. My husband, and my dog. When they see me at the window they're like, "Oh hey Name, what's you're birthday again? Any for Husbo today? Does Dog want some treats? Have a great day."

That's funny as hell! 😅 Reminds me of this sassy trio of pharm techs we had in town my patients nicknamed 'the witches of Walgreens' lol In their defense, they were really overwhelmed because of the pandemic...but they didn't take any BS. Usually it's the customers who are rude af to them.

My husband is a type 1 diabetic and they do this with his insulin, too, a drug that he literally has to have in order to survive, and that he’s had since 6th grade. Our healthcare system is so embarrassing and messed up.
