Having been welcomed to Washington DC by The President and First Lady of the United States, The King and Queen were shown the beehives in the White House gardens. 🐝 The White House beehives were first established in 2009, serving as an enduring feature of the grounds across multiple administrations and producing honey for the White House. In 2026, First Lady Melania Trump enhanced the existing White House honey program to include a hand-crafted hive, shaped in the form of the White House. During the summer, the hive is home to approximately 70,000 bees.

Zelensky says Ukraine is preparing a meeting with partners in the US covering peace negotiations, energy, food security and weapons, with new support packages including air defense expected. Ukraine is also expanding its anti-ballistic coalition. Zelensky said Europe's strongest companies capable of contributing to anti-ballistic defense are already participating in the FREYJA program, with Ukraine aiming to have a system ready for testing this year and eventually produce it at scale. #Ukraine

This honey hunter collects wild honey and he's like friends with the bees. 😂 If beekeeping were a sport, this guy would be a champ.

I was honored to host my good friend, Prime Minister @Netanyahu, at the Capitol today. With President Trump back in the White House and Republicans leading the House and Senate, America will not turn its back on Israel. Our support for Israel is ironclad.

This guy makes $82,000 a day selling honey. He started at 12 years old with $300 and one beehive. By the time he graduated high school he was doing six figures a year. Now, he owns 30,000 hives and over a billion bees…. and makes $35M/year in revenue. I met with Blake last year. Here's how his biz model works: He has six revenue lines… • Retail • Wholesale • Pollination services • Beekeeping supplies • Food manufacturing • Hot honey Retail and wholesale is the core. He bottles the honey himself and sells it direct to stores and consumers. His facility runs 1,000 jars an hour. One tote of raw honey (about 275 gallons) is worth $15k and takes half a million bees to fill it. Pollination services runs on top of that. Farmers pay him to park his hives on their land so his bees can pollinate their crops. This brings in extra recurring revenue that’s separate from selling honey. Hot honey is one of the fastest growing food trends right now. It’s honey infused with chili pepper - either sweet or spicy. Blake sells them at a premium and in smaller batches. So they have better margins than straight honey and cost less to produce. Beekeeping supplies and food manufacturing round out the rest. Supplies means gear hives, suits, or smokers sold to other beekeepers. Food manufacturing covers other honey-based products that have higher margins than just raw honey. The numbers: • Revenue: $35M/year • Margins: 15% • Employees: 125 • Bee cost: $2M/year (just to keep them alive) • Facility output: 1,000 jars/hour (at $5 wholesale, $9 on the shelf) • Processing facility cost: $3M to build ($1M of honey sitting in it at any given time) One of the coolest businesses I've seen.

This video shows a real invention called the Flow Hive, where you simply turn a key and honey flows straight out of the hive like a faucet — no mess, no extracting frames, and supposedly much less stress on the bees. The footage itself is real. The product was actually invented back in 2015 by a father-and-son team in Australia. It went on to raise over $12 million on Indiegogo that same year — one of the most successful crowdfunding campaigns ever. I’m not sure if this is the future of beekeeping or not, but it’s pretty wild to watch. 🐝 (Voiceover is AI-generated)

Today the "E5" (🇩🇪🇫🇷🇬🇧🇮🇹🇵🇱) agreed to launch an initiative to produce their own low-cost aerial defences - drones and the ability to shoot down drones - without American support. The E5 is a relatively new term that we're going to be hearing a lot more of going forward.

Building the Future of Agro-Tourism in Northern Uganda 1. I started with just 100 beehives. Today, we have over 800 and this is just the beginning. This initiative is about creating income, protecting the environment, and empowering communities in the Oyam District. 2. Beekeeping is one of the most sustainable, low-labor ventures perfect for those managing multiple businesses. It provides real income, supports biodiversity, and enhances food security through pollination. 3. My late grandfather always said, “Honey is a sweet business.” Now I truly understand. With rising demand, we’re training local beekeepers, engaging youth, and preparing to export to South Africa and Germany. 4. My vision is bold: to build Northern Uganda’s largest agro-tourism and eco-farming site, a place of learning, trade, and transformation. Let’s reimagine agriculture, together.

The name of Jim Jordan's new "Weaponization of the Federal Government" subcommittee is a psychological projection and political confession. Their obvious—and demonstrable—purpose is to abuse the power of Congress to send Donald Trump back to the White House in 2024.
