The White Sox will have a fully rested Sean Burke in Game 5. While the Guardians had to use closer Cade Smith (31 pitches) and Gavin Williams (18 pitches). Why? The third inning last night! ⬇️

Fully rested so he can pull him out after 2 innings or less. Venable is overmanaging these pitchers just like Tony La Russa did in the playoffs. Stop changing out so many pitchers.

The offense will need to come up huge to win. Can’t trust the pitching at this point.

We will most likely start Kaye . Remember lefties in their line up😂. Veneable’s in-game pitching decisions have been awful all year, and he got exposed at the worst possible time of the year. He always overmanages and completely panicked tonight. He takes Hicks out, who’s our freshest strong arm and throwing bullets, because Ramirez (Hall of Fame) got one good swing. He should have pitched at least 2–3 innings. Brings Kaye in, who’s been throwing batting practice. Completely unforgivable. Then brings Taylor in way too early and leaves him in after two batters when everyone, including the announcers, saw he had nothing. He doesn’t start our igniter, Antonacci, because of this righty-lefty BS. He has no feel as a manager. We should just have a computer in the dugout. As Hawk says, “See you next year, boys.” You can put this on the board. We’re done!

This won't matter. It's the playoffs. There is no plan for tomorrow if you don't win today.

Venable will pull Burke in the 3rd inning if he lets up a hit. Either that or he'll have Tyler Davis open the game.

Sox fans continue to say this like it's a giant advantage. Williams had a bullpen session last night. Cade Smith hasn't thrown a lot of pitches in this series outside of last night; he's going to be more than ready. Williams will be ready to throw 100 pitches tomorrow.

Very sound logic. It is why he is a two time coach of the year. People trash him, but he adjusts as needed and doesn't risk a loss in a win or go home game.
