Nothing pisses me more than, going to see Nature and fishing and seeing a pile of beer cans, butts all over the place, and discarded fishing shit! You take it in you TAKE IT OUT!

Poor owl looks exhausted....stupid humans leaving their trash. Fishing line and netting is so extremely detrimental to all levels of wildlife.

Poor baby was all tired out. The man had a calming voice and a kind manner.

Right when the owl moved his foot up and realized he was free, I think he tried to thank the guy. He made clicking sounds and gave slow blinks. So beautiful ❤

Humans should know better when it comes to nylon...it takes years to deteriorate.

Poor guy was probably exhausted from trying to get free. Thank God they found him. 🥹🙏🏻

poor owl, so lucky they were able to help as it looked really tired🥹

Owls are more than just birds...This man will be forever protected under the watchful wise owls eyes!

When owls chatter their beaks it can mean that there content and in a non threatening mood. The owl did that probably trying to say “it’s ok I need help I won’t claw your eyes out” to the guy. 🤷♂️🤔😬

You must genuinly be a beautiful soul & have a positive calm energy that the owl trusted you & stayed calm. Animals have different eyesight mechanism. Most can't see us the way we do, but they can see through us. You and the owl are both lucky to have such memorable moments.

Owl does the slow blink .. just like a cat💕

Awe … ❤️🦉❤️ Bless than wonderful man!

I saved one of these last year dying on a sidewalk. I’ll remember it forever. Having a moment like this with an animal is a unique experience bc it’s all nonverbal. He thought he was dinner for the first 10-15 seconds but then he let me carry him to the water

Nice to see humans being such good stewards to animals

Nice, but please don’t throw the fishing line in the water again. That was the problem to begin with.

Animals just know when you are helping them. It’s some sort of telepathy that even we probably don’t understand.

The owl was waiting for his Tootsie Pop treat. 😂

I hate fishermen who leave their lines behind!!

I untangled a bird years ago, the same kind of thing, and it looked like it had kept trying to fly and just kept wrapping itself tighter and tighter around a log. Who knows how long that owl has been there Thankful for the good people in this world.

I once removed a torn and stretched plastic dog-poo bag caught around a swan's neck and foot. Had to manhandle her to get it off, she was completely calm as was her male partner standing right next to her who usually was aggressive. They know when we're helping.

On the last day of our honeymoon, my wife and I took one last walk on the beach and found an osprey tangled in fishing line with heavy weights. We freed him watching as he flew back to freedom. After 42 years, still an amazing memory.

I’m so happy for the magnificent creature! Deep respect and gratitude for the helpers! For anybody in a similar situation, please wear eye protection. The owl might be scared (unlike this one, apparently) and it may defend itself. A nature photographer lost an eye to an owl.

This is so beautiful. I love this. 🙏💜

To my friend @TheLFLounge humanity remains and all creatures great and small understand kindness.

The wise man felt: he is here to align with God's energy, in harmony beyond words ❤️

The way he slow blinked and clapped his beak ♥️

@happycanuck2025 Such a gentle touch. 😊❤️👏

Owls are literally retarded. Only emus are more retarded. Glad he got the little guy free, though.

In December on one of our walks I found a goose tangled in fishing line It had died, prob overnight after struggling for god knows how long🙈 I’m OK win Natural death, disease, age, predation But I’m not OK when humans are the cause So selfish and thoughtless

Hell the owl almost fell asleep, was so exhausted good job guys

Poor thing Probably tired from struggling to free itself

Kind man! Trusting owl. Beautiful. I hope they will both be well.
