Death Stranding 2 and Ghost of Yotei are showcase titles for 2025 when it comes to technical performance. Massive, detailed and stunning worlds running at a rock solid 60 FPS, all on the base PS5 with near instant load times.

Death Stranding 2 has some of the most detailed character models out there. No DLSS and runs amazing on the base PS5.

Returnal is still one of the best PS5 games in my opinion, and it definitely deserves more recognition. The atmosphere, soundtrack, world-building, and gameplay loop are all absolutely top-tier. It’s far too often overlooked in conversations about the best games on the PS5.

Hideo Kojima and Kojima Productions have done such an amazing job with the Decima Engine. Death Stranding 2 still looks freaking insane, especially the character rendering and all with 60fps on base PS5. Would be a massive bummer if Kojima couldn’t use it anymore.
