You know, the only reason they created that IG account was… For us. It was never about fame or money. It was their way of reaching out when everything around them was falling apart. A place where they tried to share small moments of happiness, excitement, love, and peace with us, even when they barely had any left for themselves. They made it because they were worried. Because they knew we were worried. Because they didn’t want the people who cared about them to sit there wondering if they were okay. And honestly, it was during that time that we saw them in a way we never had before. Real, unfiltered, not dressed up by a company, not edited, not scripted. Just them. That little page carried so much, didn’t it? They taught us so many things without ever needing to put on a show. Through every live and every small update, they showed us what real courage looks like, what honesty feels like, and how powerful someone can be even when everything around them is pushing back. But it was also a place that held their fear, their stress, their sleepless nights, and the weight of knowing the whole world was watching and anything they said could be twisted in an instant. It was a happy place. But never an easy one. We went through so much during that period. From the excitement of seeing them as NJZ to the shock of their injunction being enforced. So many times we thought we saw the light at the end of the tunnel, only for it to turn out to be a fire blocking the path. John Carpenter on how the studio, audience and critics reacted after watching "Big Trouble in Little China" (1986) & the reason for movie's failure: "Carpenter: I thought about writing a book about my experiences in Hollywood being a director, mainly because I was burned out on making movies. But | didn't do it because | thought, “I’m not ready yet. | don't have enough to say yet. I need to make more films and | don’t want to quit yet.” Interviewer: How did Fox executives react when they saw the movie for the first time? Carpenter: Needless to say, they had a few problems with the movie. They sat down with me and we went through the film. They didn’t like that the white hero was such a buffoon, and that he was being shown up by the Asians. They were afraid the audience wouldn't think this guy was brave, so they asked me to cut out the humor and emphasize his bravery, which was impossible to do. Then we got to the preview stage. The audience that saw it really loved it and laughed, so they wanted me to put the humor back in and go back to what it was—they still hated the movie, though. 🚨Peter Schiff: China🇨🇳 is silently dumping the dollar, a US🇺🇸 dollar crisis is coming soon! ‘China is gradually weaning themselves off of the dollar. That’s why, if you look at their holdings of US Treasuries, they’ve actually gone down a bit over the years. If you look at all the new Treasuries we’ve issued over the years, the fact that the Chinese haven’t bought any of them is a big deal because they used to be a main buyer of these assets. Instead of buying more Treasuries, they’ve bought more gold. So if you look at US dollar debt as a percentage of all the reserves the Chinese own, Treasuries are a much smaller percentage of their total reserves than they once were, especially if you consider the appreciation of gold. I would guess the reason they’re not moving more dramatically is because they probably don’t want to cause a crash, the dollar to implode, the Treasury market to implode, because they are trying to sell and want to get a decent price. So I think they’re happy to slowly bleed it off to try to get that good price. They just have to worry about the impact on the dollar, because if they try to dump too many dollars at once, the dollar could go down, and especially if a lot of other countries see that and want to get out. There could be a run on the dollar. If all the holders decide they want to get out, they don’t want to be the last one holding the dollar, and so it becomes a rush, and we could be in a US dollar crisis relatively soon anyway… I think we’re heading for a real crisis in the US, and I think countries that are smart would be trying to get ahead of that by selling whatever they can, as quietly as they can, out of US dollars and any US dollar-denominated debt.’ -Peter Schiff on Going Underground

jihoon said there originally wasnt a Korea stop for their fan concert. it was supposed to be a full japan tour but him and the members thought they have to do a concert in korea first so they had junkyu and asahi propose it to the company.. 🐶 about Hwajeong Gymnasium.. I know a lot of you felt the venue was a bit too small, and honestly, I felt the same way. 🐶 the reason we didn’t say anything before the concert was because the fan concert was originally planned and decided by YG Japan. at first, we were only given the list of Japanese venues. 🐶 when we [treasure] saw that we said “wait aren’t we doing one in Korea? I think we should have one in Korea too.” 🐶 so they had to quickly find and book a venue in Korea. the problem is that it’s actually really difficult to book concert venues in Korea, especially on short notice. 🐶 bc everything happened so suddenly, there were only a few venue options available. among those options, we felt that it would still be better to hold a concert in Korea first rather than not do one at all, so that was the direction we decided to take. 🐶 at the time, Junkyu and Asahi were the leaders for that project. I told Junkyu, “we have to do one in Korea before we go.” Junkyu agreed. I brought it up with the members. they all agreed too. 🐶 then Junkyu and Asahi passed it along to the company and worked things out with them, and that’s how we ended up holding the concert at Hwajeong Gymnasium. 🐶 there really wasn’t any special reason beyond that. it was simply because the planning had started with the Japan branch first, so that’s how things naturally unfolded. 🐶 the headquarters, Japan branch, and us (TREASURE members) all have our own situations and things we have to consider. so rather than saying one side was right or taking anyone’s side, everyone was simply trying to do what was possible under the circumstances. but if we had explained all of this before the concert, I felt like it would’ve made people upset. 🐶 tbh I think anyone would’ve been disappointed. it doesn’t matter whether you’re a Korean Teume, a Japanese Teume, or somewhere else. anyone could’ve felt hurt over something like this. 🐶 we were already very aware of the feedback from fans. we knew exactly how everyone was feeling. so I kept wondering, “when should I talk about this? when’s the right time?” I just didn’t want there to be any unnecessary misunderstandings between anyone. 🐶 thats why I decided it would be better to explain everything carefully after the concerts were over. and during those three concert days, we wanted to give it everything we had. we felt that was both the respectful thing to do for the fans who came to see us and the best thing we could do as artists. 🐶 everyone also supported us so much throughout the concerts, and thankfully, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday all ended on a really good note.

Yes on the videos we have so far. The initial encounter was him filming them. There was no gun being brandished. They jumped out of vehicles to go to try to intimidate him. Unfortunately there's no video yet between then and when they had them on the ground. When they had him on the ground they were pistol whipping him, at first it looked like a baton, but it's actually a gun. They had him down with at least five officers. You got to wait for a second so he tried to stand up they shot him in the back he was motionless after they shot him in the back. Then there were four more shots or more after that unloaded into his body from a posture of standing above him. Not a defensive posture. He's supposedly has a gun. It looks like ICE took something out of a holster. So it's likely that he did have a HOLSTERED GUN in an open carry state that is not a reason to shoot someone to death. Yes on the videos we have so far. The initial encounter was him filming them. There was no gun being brandished. They jumped out of vehicles to go to try to intimidate him. Unfortunately there's no video yet between then and when they had them on the ground. When they had him on the ground they were pistol whipping him, at first it looked like a baton, but it's actually a gun. They had him down with at least five officers. You got to wait for a second so he tried to stand up they shot him in the back he was motionless after they shot him in the back. Then there were four more shots or more after that unloaded into his body from a posture of standing above him. Not a defensive posture. He's supposedly has a gun. It looks like ICE took something out of a holster. So it's likely that he did have a HOLSTERED GUN in an open carry state that is not a reason to shoot someone to death.
