The keyboard on iOS is the worst I have ever used in comparison to what’s available on Android. When AI voice dictation came out, it quickly became my primary input interface on both desktop and mobile. Though, on mobile it was quite limited to specific apps, cuz in many cases it is not that good or completely missing. Around a month ago, it finally changed when I had a chance to beta test Typeless keyboard for iOS. There, it can be synced between mobile and desktop apps, so I would have access to all my configurations as well as to the dictation history. It comes with a seamless way to switch between typing and dictation and a wave animation (quite an important part), so you can see if it is actually recording what you say. Typeless enables vibe coding in tools like Claude Code or AI Studio from mobile. A custom dictionary saves loads of time cuz you don’t have to correct all your abbreviations that other voice dictation solutions misspell.
