During an annual physical a few years ago, Doc asked, “what have you been doing to get so healthy? Your lab results are perfect!” My reply was, don’t know what you mean, wasn’t on any diets so nothing changed Doc who then asked if I’d been traveling? Yes, just return from 3 months in SE Asia. She immediately replied, “I knew it!” Then went on to say, “I see these same results in every one of you guys when you return from overseas!” Then said, “they’re poisoning our food and this is more proof! I share my findings and concerns but my peers don’t want to hear it, won’t even respond, they’re not interested. I’m taking you off of these meds, you don’t need them anymore.” That’s when I woke up. Always thought people were just pushing health food when complaining so much about the food we eat. It’s rare for doctors to react this way, so when they do, you know you’ve got a good.
