I was watching this series of jumps as they were being broadcast. If I remember correctly he had already broken (his own) world record earlier in the series Though I am not sre whether the first one was not wind-assisted. The nearest jump to this is only 8 cm behind it though

60 feet! We had a girl on my track team that won states in triple jump and I think she was doing a little over half that distance. Unbelievable.
