@fkerley99 Folks don't fully understand how just 3-5 min of holding athletes can impact competition in the field of athletes. Coaches always fighting officials of lets keep this rolling & speed it up

@fkerley99 I think occasions like this with delays or having to wait can either break or make the athlete in the moment. And judging from the result, it seems it affected more athletes in that race than benefited.
