The world wouldn’t function for a day without men.

It's jobs like these that women complaining about job equality always forget to mentiom without fail. Men run the world not because they are great businessmen or politicians, they run it because they can do grueling work like this for 20+ years, 8-12 hours a day and still go home to kiss their wives and hug their kids with a smile their face.

God bless any derrickhand running drill pipe. Has to be one of the most difficult jobs out there! My days on rigs were gladly spent on the ground.

Here’s a perfect example- went for a morning jog- a tree fell down blocking the driveway, I know where the chainsaw is, I’m fully capable sawing the tree into small enough chunks to where I (5’2 - 125 pounds) could move them and clear the driveway and would have a nice wood pile for burning. Would take me all day. However- my tall/muscular husband will go out there with the same chain saw and have it cleared moved and stacked in the time it would have taken me to cut and start moving pieces. It’s not the same- we need men and their strength & power, there IS NO SUBSTITUTE
