The world’s largest amphibious float plane, a DC3 originally built in 1943 as a military plane, lands today in Greenville. It was privately purchased and restored to flight in 2024.

The Greenville Seaplane fly-in usually brings some really unique aircraft. Better landings than the dude in spandex in Dexter last week. For anyone interested:

Was great to her in the air again. But damn she takes up a lot of ramp space at 3B1 the other 364 days out of the year.
