Dear Fidias, Perhaps good to remind everyone that it is Putin who started this war and killed hundreds of thousands of Ukrainians and Russians (including many civilians). And it is Putin who can stop this war immediately. Negotiating with terrorists and war criminals is not always the best option in diplomacy because when you do that, you encourage these bastards to legitimate their acts of violence and pursue their wars elsewhere (not forgetting the fact that Putin, who is now in power for more than 25 years, eliminated any form of political opposition in his country by either physically eliminating his opponents or jailing them).
