The worst thing the Conservatives did was taking away hope from young people. Hope that if you work hard, you can build a better life. Today I spoke in the Chamber about the generational inequalities my generation has faced.

THIS ZIMBABWE MUST COME…This was at Doroi camp in Mozambique before the 1980 independence. The young people had so much hope in the future. This hope has not materialized. Things went wrong. 44 years later, even the young people of today still have this hope. Zimbabwe will not die because the young people will save it!! It’s a generational call. Are you in?? #MyZimbabwe #OneOeople

In my maiden speech, I spoke about the challenges the my generation have faced. This came up time and time again in the campaign. Residents spoke to me about concerns they have for the future of their children and grandchildren. I can relate; I’ve been there, and it’s why I will fight for a better future for our young people.

Walz: "Today, people in Minnesota, the work that we did and the bill that I signed make their life a lot better. And I would ask those folks who think Donald Trump is doing the right thing -- do you think not getting paid family leave and fighting a war in Venezuela has improved your life? Because if it is, I don't know what I can say to you to help you vote for something."

We are obliged as Muslims to take the authority away from the people who have it and implement the Sharia. Now I hope that can come in a very peaceful way. I hope that we can do that in a way, where, you know, there is no bloodshed." Europe 2026.

Scott Galloway: “The second worst thing to happen to young people is remote work. 1 and 3 relationships began at work; this is where you find friends, mentors, and mates.” “And especially young men need the guardrails of a workplace.” “The worst thing that has happened to young people is the anti-alcohol movement.”

"I hope this experience is hard for you. I hope it’s not easy for you. That's how you're going to find out what you are made of. Life is hard. The challenges of life are hard." You don’t build yourself in comfort. You build yourself with resistance and resilience.

"I think it was the worst final I've ever played." Even if it's true, you don't have to say that now, taking the gloss away from Coco's win. Just congratulate her, say you'll work hard to improve, and move on.

My closing message to my fellow governors. In light of the assassination attempt on Pres. Trump, I think it’s more important today than it was two days ago. It’s about building and optimism and hope. It’s about loving our country and doing the hard work of bridge building. I make mistakes all the time, but I’m trying to be better. I hope you will listen.

The ordinary hope of working people is to be able to get on in life. To ensure your children have more chances than you did. My Labour government will change our country for the better, and bring that hope back.
