We’ve never shared this kind of context before but the boards for this project were so incredibly detailed we really had to highlight them! This cinematic was a hugely ambitious project for us and the storyboarding phase was so important as a roadmap of the film!

After 14 years of development, Molior RS, a not-for-profit game heavily inspired by Runescape is being shutdown It became an official Runescape community project in 2016, and was promised an indefinite future, but unfortunately Jagex is now requesting they close it down These guys spent years recreating hundreds of RS locations and over 100 quests for a fun project, gutted for the team

The project (publicly) lost support in the 2000s but remains as an inspiration for research propelling directed energy and as a visionary concept for air and space transportation. Some patents show it is still very much being developed.
