I know how hard it is to get a job in this garbage country with all the discrimination at the federal level. I applied to over 250-300 jobs within a few months time, countrywide, and got two interviews, both of which were given to Indians instead despite me being overqualified for the entry jobs. Had to completely get out of the tech field.

I’ll never forget when Harper pushed for foreign workers during the Alberta oil boom. 22 bucks an hour to work at McDonald’s and the drive through was backed up all day every day because of the amount of wealth in the province and no small business was failing. Young people will never experience how incredible it was before they were replaced.

Hiring is on for the Census. Jobs are open to all. No DEI or any restriction. Pays $26/hour + expenses. I am hearing from people in charge of hiring that they are not getting many applications from Canadian citizens so they are forced to hire PR & Open Work Permit holders.

It's said to be at %14 but a parliamentary committee released a stat closer to 18%. Not only that, TFW are typically subsidized by the federal government. The map is shocking.
