@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx Zcash has shown the limits of the old privacy. NEAR takes the same+speed, zoom and AI. When privacy returns, the capital will go to a place where it can actually be used.

most people are looking at the zcash exploit itself.. i'm looking at why NEAR keeps getting mentioned because of it. whenever something like this happens, people start paying more attention to other approaches. doesn't mean money suddenly moves overnight, but i can see why Near is part of the conversation..,

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx @nikshepsvn you called it

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx Interesting how one ecosystem’s weakness can suddenly shift attention elsewhere. If privacy narratives keep growing, execution and user experience will matter more than hype — that’s where NEAR has a chance.

Sometimes one project’s problem becomes another project’s opportunity 👀 If the Zcash exploit really shifts attention toward stronger scalable ecosystems, then NEAR Protocol could quietly benefit big time. Smart money is already looking at positioning before the crowd realizes the narrative shift 🚀 Big respect to Wizard of Soho and Jenn Sanasie for breaking it down clearly. Presented by [Kraken]( 🔥

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx Near clearly have a space to grow because of ZEC. It dumped lower by percentage than zcash did, and pumped more by percentage when zcash restored by half of its way. As zcash have a little to its high, near will pump higher. But i'll wait the near going to 10$, who's with me?

The Zcash situation reminded people that privacy alone is not enough. It also has to be scalable usable and easy to integrate into the broader ecosystem NEAR's dynamic sharding gives it room to handle growing private activity while Confidential Intents make cross chain actions private without adding the usual friction or complexity users face on many privacy focused chains Then you add the ai agent layer and revenue to buyback flywheel on top and it becomes a structurally stronger spot for rotating capital

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx $NEAR looking to capitalize 📈

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx man we are a fucking joke of an industry this mf dude 🤣🤣🤣

ex-CalPERS head of global rates running $40B quietly slipping into NEAR under $2 while CT is still arguing about the ZEC exploit the "privacy meta took a hit" narrative actually created the entry. ZEC's bug wasn't a NEAR problem, it proved exactly why NEAR's approach is cleaner smart money noticed before the noise settled

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx NEAR cooking while others fumble privacy Smart money rotating to chains that actually deliver speed + usable privacy without the drama Liking this narrative shift

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx I also got my near entry at $1.85 using dcaspace planning to exit at $3 if possible but I am not using any leverage thou The fact that we can get both AI and privacy on Near it will boost Near token performance also thanks to.the confidential mode also

what's notable isn't that ZEC had a problem. every serious system eventually runs into edge cases. what's notable is how people are reacting to it for years privacy discussions were mostly about hiding information. now the conversation is drifting toward verification, recovery and trust assumptions when something goes wrong. that's a conversation NEAR is unusually well positioned for.

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx Zcash exploit = wake-up call for privacy coins. When privacy fails, you want auditability + scalability as backup. NEAR seems positioned well here with usable confidential tech that doesn’t sacrifice everything else (speed, AI integration, etc.). Smart positioning call by Wizard.

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx Interesting take — NEAR’s privacy and chain abstraction vision could attract serious attention. 🚀

the part that matters for serious capital isn't that NEAR has privacy. it's that the privacy model has a recoverable failure mode. confidential intents use TEEs for private execution, but settlement still happens on a transparent chain. if something ever goes wrong, there is still an audit trail to investigate. that's a very different risk profile from privacy systems where a failure can leave years of history impossible to verify one way or the other. for institutions and large allocators, the question isn't just privacy. it's what happens if the privacy layer fails.

the privacy narrative is getting louder, AI keeps needing better infra, chain abstraction stuff is finally starting to matter and somehow NEAR keeps sitting right in the middle of all that… maybe the Zcash situation ends up being bigger than people expect, maybe not. but the market usually reprices these shifts way after the clues are already there been holding, still holding. probably adding if people keep sleeping on it tbh

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx Interesting news for privacy chains 👀 NEAR’s speed and privacy features could make it a strong winner here. Good points from Wizard. $NEAR 🔥

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx one project's security mess turning into NEAR's glow up? Classic crypto.Wizard breaking down the positioning makes sense tho privacy narrative shifting and NEAR actually having the speed/scalability to back it up.Might actually throw a small bag at this,been watching it for a min

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx "A truly unexpected opportunity! Will NEAR really be the biggest winner?"

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx Interesting take. Markets usually focus on the exploit itself, but the bigger story might be which ecosystems are best positioned to benefit from the shift in trust. NEAR deserves a look.

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx The Zcash exploit exposed one of the hardest tradeoffs: when privacy breaks, auditing becomes nearly impossible Privacy is essential, but so is auditability. NEAR's confidential infrastructure offers a different path: private while computation runs, verifiable when it settles

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx NEAR is quietly hitting on infrastructure, privacy, and UX all at once while the market looks the other way.

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx what about zcash:native ? jokes

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx Exploits do not just leak funds, they leak users to competitors.

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx hmm, zcash drama, near beneficiary… lotta noise, lotta hopium being peddled. curious to see if this actually hits the tape or just fuels another pump and dump narrative. still watching the charts, mostly.

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx If I were you I’d listen to Wizard a 100%.

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx 听着好像有点道理但懒得细想

NEAR protocol dynamic sharding and confidential intents actually solve the privacy mess Zcash ran into with that Orchard bug. You get real scalability plus usable shielded stuff without losing settlement transparency. Been watching how it blends AI too, this feels like the cleaner path forward for private DeFi that doesn't break.

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx Great coverage by CoinDesk! NEAR is definitely positioning itself as a major leader. 🔥

@wizardofsoho @JennSanasie @krakenfx he biggest winners in crypto are usually the projects solving tomorrow's problems before everyone notices they exist. $NEAR is one of them.
