The Zero Gravity mission in Electrosphere is amazing You fly a space shuttle with a neutrino particle beam weapon and plasma missiles to shoot down satellites. I chose Ace Combat 3 as my first entry into the series and it has to be my favorite.

Do check out Project Nemo some time down the line. It's a fan translation of the japanese version of the game, which is surprisingly different.

It boggled my mind when I first played this mission as a kid. I was confused why my brother was flying weird, and why he needed to have the jet's nose-up, bottom first during re-entry. I love this game.

I only discovered Ace Combat four years ago but as a kid I used to play a lot of European Combat flight simulator to pass the time. When I heard the music of Ace combat it blew me away and I've been a fervent and very passionate fan of the series ever since going on to play 4,5,0,7, and project wingman and DLC, with 6 planned for the new year. I am beyond words. I'm so happy Ace Combat is back. Thank you Bandai Namco US <3

It's hard work, but we can do it. There are smart human beings out there. My first mission was really about the construction of the space station. On my second mission, I got to capitalise on the international cooperation, fly up with our Russian partners, and do a lot of experiments on the space station. And my last mission was, of course, flying a brand new spacecraft. Again, this is what India is going to be doing, what VAST is going to be doing as an example -- not easy things. Sometimes those things come with a couple of hiccups, but the good side of those hiccups is you get to do amazing science and maybe some more spacewalks in the process..."

Kibo means 'hope' in Japanese. I brought this module to the space station on my first mission as shuttle commander back in 2008. This is a replica for training, but the real Kibo is still up there doing great work. Pretty cool.

This created a series of standing nodes and anti-nodes that responded to the frequency and amplitude. A zero gravity Lava Lamp! Will post what happens when I drove this with some of my favorite rock and roll! From Expedition 31, 2012.

37 years ago I sat down with my mom to watch this. It was my first exposure to Jerry Goldsmith’s theme. The warp effect blew my mind. And it it really is what started a love affair with this franchise and got me into a fandom that includes some of my most favorite people.

Extremely determined people have discovered the General Resource LTD. logo on supply crates in a scene in the Ace Combat 8: Wings Of Theve announcement trailer. General Resource is one of the major factions in Ace Combat 3: Electrosphere, by 2040 the corporation wields the power of a nation and is recognized internationally as a sovereign state. Holding control of most of the Usean continent by this time. Ace Combat 8 reportedly takes place in 2029, and it is highly likely the game will contain events which detail the Corporation's rise to monolithic power that looms over Usea.
