Caroline was a brilliant comedian. Her best characters were those that flew under the radar, checkout girl, teen (Lisa Stansfield fan), and Renee don't often get mentioned as the best from the show but for me are up there with Ted, Ralph, Birkin, Johnny Nice & Channel9

It comes out of nowhere in that documentary too, further showing the clear understanding the team have of how to grip the viewer.

For a ‘sketch ’ show to have so many characters that people took to , shows a strength of writing and comedy acting . Struggle to think of any other before or since that came close to this perfection.

Yeah, remarkable really, especially when you consider the concept of the show. Beyond the catchphrase there was real depth to the characters
