BMW M3, E92. 414 hp. From a 4.0L naturally aspirated V8. Revving to 8,400 rpm with no turbo. 0–100 km/h in around 4.6 seconds. Back then, 400 hp meant revs and sound in the 2000s. Not torque, not instant speed. This was about the experience, this car wanted you to rev the engine hard, this is a backroads car for going fast. One of the last naturally aspirated M3s. Compared to a modern M340i with maybe similar power, this feels slower, but this M3 is way better feeling and its a V8 M3, the only V8 M3 and the older M3's feel way way more alive.

The notion that all new cars suck sort of gets debunked the second the Lexus LFA gets mentioned. One of the only supercars where Lexus did not compensate by making it a hybrid or a twin turbo six cylinder. What Toyota did instead was build an absolute masterpiece, from an engine that is extremely impressive considering it is a V10 that weighs like a V6 and is as compact as a V8, to an exterior package that is truly beautiful for a supercar without going over the top. Seeing this car for the first time at ModaMiami was amazing because of how much it stood apart next to all the fancy Koenigsegg, Czinger 21C, and Bugatti builds, not because it was wilder but because the styling and the lines are truly understated in a beautiful way. The Lexus LFA is powered by a 4.8 liter naturally aspirated V10 developed with Yamaha, producing 552 horsepower and revving to 9,000 rpm so quickly it required a digital tachometer. It accelerates from 0 to 60 mph in around 3.7 seconds, reaches a top speed of 202 mph, and the Nürburgring Package set a 7 minute 14 second lap at the Nordschleife. Only 500 were built, featuring a carbon fiber body and one of the most legendary engine sounds ever put in a production car.

This is exactly what I was waiting for a G-Wagon owner to speak up. Yes, with a V8 engine, you need proper petrol for it to perform as intended. Higher-capacity engines are among the worst affected by higher ethanol blends. I didn’t want to bring this up earlier, but I even mentioned during the protest that I was in Leh last week, where I drove a G63 V8. It was facing the same issue. Imagine owning a ₹5 crore car and still having to deal with this. What more does Gadkari want to hear? The reality is that owners of expensive performance cars aren’t speaking up publicly, but they’re among those being affected the most!!

In April 2024 a British ship radioed to report witnessing the French Navy escorting migrant boats to a handover point with British vessels before being escorted to Dover. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. What’s happening in the Channel is part of a secret UK-EU asylum pact and it’s all being coordinated with the full knowledge of the British government. The Rwanda plan, Border Security Command, the occasional turning around of a boat, etc is all performative to keep up the illusion that the British government wants to stop the boats. Don’t believe me? Think that’s all a bit far fetched? Well we know in recent years the British government set up the secret Afghan Response Route which saw tens of thousand of Afghans brought to the UK without Parliament or the public being told. So of course they’re capable of cutting a secret deal with the EU.

Firstly, Cars are not designed only for engine hitting passengers, there are many other safety factors. Engine is just one of them. Also, Bikes are light because they are built for just 1–2 people without heavy safety or luxury features. Cars are heavy as it's built strong, safe, comfortable, carry several passengers, carry luggage. This is why it needs large frames, safety reinforcements, bigger engines, systems, ac, airbags, etc. Also, I have a Xuv700 which is big enough car and it is 1900kg. Creta is 1300 kg 3000kg are Bullet Proof Armoured Vehicles. Not common cars.

There is a long checklist of items to go through before you get to hit the starter, so this clip is just the fun part. The engines are labeled engine #1 (left) and engine #2 (right). The first engine is started off the 24volt battery of the aircraft and the starter is released one the compressor reaches 55%. Once the first engine is up and running with the generator turned on, it makes the second engine spool up much quicker, as is has very little load to work against with the blades already turning at 85% rotor speed by this point. On odd calendar days we start engine number 1 first, and number 2 on even days. This is done to lessen the chance of us wearing out one engine more than the other. B212’s are intensive on maintenance, so each machine is dispatched with an engineer to oversee the maintenance. They will walk around the machine and check for (no) leaks for the first start of the day. 📸 by ig/bushpiloting Not an ad
