Just Eat, Deliveroo, Uber Eats etc. a report says their growth has stalled and one of the reasons seems to be that people don’t trust them and don’t think they are safe.... Increasing reports of rudeness, confrontation and even violence. Ring doorbell video which shows the terrible behaviour. Ongoing use of illegal workers and illegal migrants…..let alone the terrible service itself. I have never used any of them snd never will. I would urge you to do the same. Have never used food delivery companies and never will. 1) I prefer healthy home cooked food and 2) I have no wish to support companies that employ illegal immigrants.

I’m another who has never used any food delivery service, & never will. Just this service alone proves the G’ment want this invasion to carry on. It should be the 1st place immigration should go to collect illegals🤷‍♀️ But they don’t. 😡🤬

I'm like you John. My prefer is to go to the shops, butchers, grocers & buy my food & cook it myself. I refuse to self serve in supermarkets & refuse to have food delivered. As for take aways being delivered by some irk on a bike or motor scooter, "Never". I'd rather go without.

Proud I’ve never used them, won’t use takeaways at all now. I don’t know for sure how ethical they are, I wouldn’t even trust the local authority health standards/checks etc. wholesome British food only, and less of it because it’s packed with goodness which is satiating

We’ve got a situation in the UK where 95% of the people who come to our door to deliver stuff, a vast majority of the taxi drivers & nearly all security guards, are almost uniquely foreign men from the 3rd world! Does this frighten anyone else?

I recently used ubereats for the first (and last) time. I never got my food but got a nice photo of it dumped on a wall somewhere. Eventually got a refund but had to keep on at them.

The moment some of those corporation complained about tougher borders and right work checks did it for me, we should have closed them down.

I have just been in to Nandos to complain about Deliveroo drivers speeding to pick up deliveries, parking on pavements, double yellow lines without any regard to pedestrians. These 'drivers' are in such a rush that they leave their engines running (illegal) whilst jumping out of their vehicles to pick up their wares, and then speed off. Stop using these companies - they are involved in organised crime and money laundering. Cook your own food.

I will never use them. I'm not saying all of the delivery drivers/riders are bad but there's too many illegal animals working for these companies and I don't know what they might do to my food before it gets to me.

Some elderly and home bound people do need essential groceries delivered as vital life support. They don’t need fast food deliveries. They do need basic groceries and some need meals on wheels from the county or city social services meal program.

I would be scared they put something in my food . So would never use them

All these delivery migrants have to do is open up the box, add a few drops of ricin and that’s you and your family dead, just saying……

I am home-bound and use delivery companies. I have found all the delivery people to be efficient and polite without exception. It’s not just a little bit of convenience for me it’s essential support. Don’t know what they are like on the road.

It's so expensive to ge food delivered in the UK - it's so expensive to buy food and collect it - who is buying take away food in the UK - even a fry up in a greasy spoon is £10 and up now - if everyone in the UK lived like me there would be no takeaway pubs or restaurants- i've gone back to living like my parents and grandparents

Absolutely do not use these fucking companies, you are allowing them to obtain LTR visa's, its not that difficult to collect your own takeaway guys.

I've never ordered anything from any food delivery service. Apart from the occasional pub meal and visit to our favourite chippy, I prefer home cooked food.

Add the fact that each driver knows your name, address and contact number, and if you live alone. For women it's extremely concerning. Their database is now overflowing with your profiles.

@Crypto_GBJo Great news. I used to go get my car cleaned at the nearby car wash, this stopped when I witnessed one of the workers stop, get out his prayer mat, & start praying.. I’ve bought a power wash & now use a local chap to valet my car every so many months.. far better quality 👍🏻

in the US the vetted door dashers, etc are known to sublet the work out to the unvetted for partial pay.. that tells you the quality of the person touching you food is.

In many cases the restaurants don't even cook the food. They come out of shipping containers in large parks, under flyovers. Probably cooked by illegal migrants too.

They charge much much more for items that cost much less in the supermarkets and then add a shit load of VAT on too. SCAM

Dont use them but to my surprise 2 bikes turned up at my door with my iceland delivery. One had no I.D. spoke no english. Iceland have a third party deal with deliveroo. All frozen food went into the bin as it was contaminated with mcdonalds delivery also in same bag. Disgusting.
