My non negotiable poor person financial advice. If you can't pay your mortgage or rent with one paycheck you can't afford to live there. If you can't make your car payment with half of one check you can't afford that car Utilize online shopping to avoid impulse buys Have 3 bank accounts. One for expendables, one for bills and one for savings. The bills and savings should be difficult to access. Shop your needs first then use whats left over for wants or for next week's needs to get ahead.
