It is in OneUI 6.1 aswell. Wanted to use custom icons but i just couldn't stand the broken animations. 😞

It did not break the animation. When using the default icons, the animation knows which shape the icons are, so the morphing animations are being used. But for custom icons, the shape is unknown for the system, so it uses generic animations.
